I'm not sure how this became about 4WD, but anyone choosing might keep in mind that in trucks and some SUVs the 4WD version is higher than the 2WD version - you might get more ground clearance (and worse handling), but you need to climb up further to get in. In the largest trucks, you might not even get the thing in your garage.

A running board can be added. We are now used to the height. I guess if we fall out of it one day, we will finally get a running board.
