That's okay - I wouldn't expect under-construction photos from customers, even when tours are running. If Escape is still taking photos and sending them to owners, then eventually someone getting a 2017-spec trailer will share their photos in the It's Friday thread.

Need to keep in mind, ETI is running business and has to produce trailers for other customers on time.

was curious why the 17 pics showed a white window frame on the inside and everything else is black including those on the 19....sure seems like white would look better in these trailers against the interior white vinyl walls....some other trailer mfgs seem to offer white frames....perhaps they cost more?

From the other thread with the same question:

This one window - and only this one - is a white-framed single-pane (or "non-thermal") specialized unit with a hinged rock guard, on every model with a front window, in both the existing (up to 2016) and new "2017" spec. I don't know if it is only available in white, or if white is chosen to look better with the solid white rock guard panel.

The interior wall covering isn't really white, and I'm not sure that the "white" (there are many shades which are approximately white) would look better than black. On the outside, white frames would not quite match the white shell and while this is commonly done, the contrast of black frames is a more popular choice.

The vinyl is actually a creamy beigee color, if you can image that. Not what I would call white.

Thank you very much Laura for all the pictures! It is really fun to see what changes have been made since 2009. It also it neat to see what has remained.

Photos of under seat areas

I headed up to ETI yesterday as I wanted to check how a cellular blind would look and was able to take some photos of the underseat storage areas that some folks were interested in. Hopefully these will work, as it was the best I could do while holding the cover and cushion back with one hand and taking the photo with the other. I did not take any measurements. You'll have to ask ETI for that, if you really need it ahead of time.

(Here's the thread on the blinds

First up is the small dinette in the front of the trailer, passenger side:

Next photos are of the driver's side area of the front dinette:

(Edit: the first photo should have been posted above, but I can't figure out how to delete it from this post and add it to the previous. Oh well, you'll have to suffer with it. HA! And I didn't take a photo of the cover, but I think you can figure it out from the previous photo what it looks like.)

Sorry for the blurry photo in the previous post. I didn't notice that when I took the photo.

Anyway, next batch is of the front dinette, driver's side. I don't know what the paper was there for and I didn't want to start messing around with stuff, so I left it there.

Okay, last group of photos, of the driver side, back dinette. I didn't take any of the cover as it looks just like all the others that I think you'll know what it looks like by now.

Heck if I know what all this stuff is, but I'm sure someone on here does and will post what they are. Yes, you know who you are!

I assume that this is the passenger side of the rear dinette (opposite corner).

water heater (encased in foam insulation)
water pump with inlet filter on the near side
shore power cord (standard fixed version, not removable)

You know, I wrote passenger first and then changed it. Yeah, you're right. I'm getting a bit confused here. time to take a break from the computer, I guess.

I was just browsing and noticed that the Escape website has updated the 17' pages to the new model.

Not all of them - the inside photos still show the Atwood 8012II Furnace...

Anybody noticed if the Approx. Total dry weight has changed? It will be interesting to see how much more the new model is than the previous.

It looks like none of the interior photos have been updated - all show the previous body shell shape and door.

Did anyone save the up-to-2016 Specifications for the 17'? The currently posted set look like the previous brochure, so I assume that they have not been updated. The Features were updated a while ago.

This is going like the transition from 5.0 to 5.0TA: there's no way to know which parts (photos, specs, features, etc) have been updated and which are for the previous version.
