NEW STORAGE BOX ON 19 FT. ESCAPE
Here is a picture of the new storage box designed and installed by Reace on our new 19. ft. Escape that we picked up on November 10th, 2010. Also, a picture of the additional LED lights we had added on the rear for when we have a bike rack installed.

Nice lighting on the back of your trailer...I had extra brake lights installed on our 5.0...but horizontally under the belly band. I like yours better. (LED envy?)

I like those lights too! When we have the bikes on the back, it definitely decreases visibility of the lights

Re: NEW STORAGE BOX ON 19 FT. ESCAPE
Reace will install the extra rear turn/brake lights in a new build for well under a hundred bucks!(well, 15 under). This is probably a good investment in safety if you are planning on hanging bikes, racks, dry boxes, etc on the bumper. I believe they are LED.
Transport Canada regulations require the low mount (original placement) lights to remain even though they seem ineffective there.

Re: NEW STORAGE BOX ON 19 FT. ESCAPE
We have lights on both sides of our rear window on our new 19ft. It gives the Christmas tree effect when someone is behind you. Having turn signal up high alert drivers where you are going. Order the front storage box it holds your battery and is nice and big inside and it locks.

Re: NEW STORAGE BOX ON 19 FT. ESCAPE
Hi Guys,
I have been getting a lot of questions about a storage box for the 17' Escape. AND....
We are currently working on the exterior storage box for the 17' Escape. The box is now finished and we are working on the mold for the lid. We are expecting it to be completely ready for installation in about 2 weeks.
If you have a trailer and are considering adding the exterior storage box there is a $185.00 charge as we have to move the propane tanks, extend the gas line and retest, as well as weld brackets on for the storage box to be mounted to. The cost of the actual storage box is $700.00. I know this is not a 'cheap' option but as you can see from the photos it is lockable, has lots of space inside and comes with the 'lineEx' or Gravel Guard on the front.
I will be posting photos on the Escape website once it is finished.
Tammy

Re: NEW STORAGE BOX ON 19 FT. ESCAPE
Question, are all mthe lights on the rear and front of your trailer incandecent or Light emmiting Diodes?
Question, Did you have to purchase the lights and supply to Escape Trailers?
Question, If you ordered the lights from Princess Auto, was the SKU number, 8122210?

I had Reace install all LED running lights...brake and turn signals are already LED. No need to order...you are in the hands of experts.
