Not my Escape

Sitting at camp in Salmon Arm, sipping a beer, and what happened to drive by? This is the second Escape we've seen on the trip so far ( two days ). I didn't get to gab and only got a couple of shots. I think they were just checking out the campground.

Re: Not my Escape

That combo was on the home page for EscapeTrailers for quite a while. I saw this combo driving on I-84 eastbound (northern Oregon) right on the Columbia River back in September 2008:

Combo looks as good as it did a year ago

Re: Not my Escape

Hello All,

That is Jim C, from Prince George, BC. I am trying to get hold of him so I can request his permission regarding calendar photos.

Re: Not my Escape

If Isee Jim C. tomorrow, I'll make sure I get to talk to him, and get better pix.
We're at the Salmon Arm Campground and RV Resort on Hwy. 97B, not to be confused with the Salmon River Campground and RV Park on Hwy. #1. This is pricey. We paid $42 for one night ( electricity and water, no sewer ). It has a huge outdoor heated pool and a hot tub and internet, so I figure that's what we are paying for. The sites are fairly large, but you are still with in sight and conversation with your neighbor, but they all seem to be quiet.

We have to move to a non-serviced site here tomorrow or another campground. I learned that you can stay at the Picadilly Mall, with a sani-dump overnight for free. I'm tempted, but not stupid.

So far, this vacation is paying my dues, visiting friends and relatives. Another three days of that and then I get a vacation.
