Beautiful! Where did you find that great fabric? Also, is that a stainless insert on the fridge? Was that also a special request? That is a nice touch and picks up on the grey and the stainless sink and stove.

Last fall we traded the 17b in on the 5.0, Rease and
Tammy listed it last fall and it has been sold.

The formica is called Slate Sequoia.

Barry yes the heater is quiet enough, can't even compare it to the gas furnace for noise. I have it set for 100watts at this time as with the extra insulation and foam on the underside I am hoping once it gets warm it will stay warm.

I think the first couple of trips will be to provincial parks to test the capacity of the dual 6v batteries and I still need to wire in the controller for my portable solar panel.

The fabric is a Sunbrella product

The front of the fridge is not stainless, just a grey plastic possibly.

Maybe in the future I will install a stainless insert if the plastic gets marked up.

That's what I have mine set to as well (1000 watts); looks like you got the same one. Visiting our son over in Victoria last November it kept the trailer toasty even with frosts on the ground each morning.

If the trailer is really cold after a drive in cold weather I run the propane and electric together for 10 mins and then the electric will take over and keep the trailer warm with no problem.

I have read your upgrade journey with interest. We also have a 17 with a Frontier and have been thinking about the 5. I like the idea that the table can remain up while having a separate full size bed, but I am concerned about giving up space in the back of the truck. I would like to hear about how your trailer is working out and see it. Are you going to the rally?
