Hitched up to new 21' in Sumas (Bob's Burgers & Brew). Heading back to Texas. Will miss beautiful Chilliwack!

Congratulations, Trailseeker!

What's your tow vehicle for the 21'?

The Expedition sounds excellent for towing a 21'. Happy trails!

Excellent! I can hardly wait until we pick up our 21' in June.
My only disappointment is that my wife isn't nearly as excited about it as I am - while I spend many hours going through the forum discussions, she simply says "whatever - it's only a camper." The nerve! (But then, I guess she's a bit disappointed by my reaction to her latest quilting pattern that seems to have her all excited.)

Obviously you have to ask her to find a quilt pattern for the trailer.

I feel your pain! My spouse is less excited than I am, but at least they're willing and able to camp with us and support our choice of caravans!

Ray, I think Glenn has a good idea. There's ownership attached to the decorating. One more great way to personalize the trailer.

Jane, you should your spouse involved too. It can be anything, picking out the dishes and glassware!

You're absolutely right! She chose the colours for the interior - the throw cushions and duvet cover and to top it off she chose a fabulous turquoise which looks great with earth tones. I'm thrilled with her choice, but would have accepted whatever she chose.

Oh, we should form a club. DH is anticipating the experience but only because he can now drive his truck while towing something (his idea of a vacation is where he just drives, drives, drives). I've camped since I was a child but my husband's idea of camping is a Motel 6 instead of a Hilton ... That said, he's being a VERY good sport and seems to be looking forward to seeing more of the United States while carrying his "motel" along with him. He retired about five months ago and I'm hoping that I can encourage him to get into photography which would be a perfect hobby while touring around.

Ray - Perhaps your wife can create a quilt based on some of the sights you'll be seeing ... Vast plains, beautiful vistas, gorgeous sunsets, etc.

This is the quilt she made for our old EggCamper. She also made the curtains and cushions.

Wow! Beautiful. Careful ... she might be enticed into taking orders at some of the Escape rally's. In which case, you'll be installing a quilting rack in your 21' ....
