Jim

Did you request the larger light over the sink or is that standard?

Freespirit,
no bolt heads visible inside anywhere, covered by the finish material, the optional 19 brake lights were vertically installed on each side of rear window. On the 21 there were issues with the lights warping in the heat and separating, the lights I'm referring to are the large tail lights on the bottom which are mounted on a flat part of the shell whereas on the 21 they were also mounted on top and those that were installed on the round part of the shell, they had the issue. With these new smaller lights those issues have been resolved.
Tom,
I did not request this light and do not know if it is standard or only if you delete the hood option, which I did.

Interesting, given that the vertical outside wall should not require a taper or step in the bathroom wall.

Whatever the reason, I don't know why it would vary between models. It would allow plumbing and wiring to get past the bathroom (in this case, between the driver's side dinette seat area to the rear half of the trailer), but that may not be the reason for it.

Since the wall is flat, I don't understand how the insulation (which is flexible foam sheets) would require this sort of step feature.

I don't think there's anything fundamentally 45-degree about that. The curved dual-size Y-fitting is attached to the valves by flanges, so you can loosen the bolts which clamp it into the valves and rotate it to whatever angle from horizontal suits you - that angle looks suitable to me, but it's not the only choice.

Brian,
I'm not sure if you are familiar with the older Escape sewer hook up, but there was no angle piece on the older style, it was horizontal only. Not sure if this pice is adjustable, but I always carried a 45 degree clear plastic to observe what was going on, now I will need a straight piece but I can see where some sites may limit what attachments can be used so my observations may now be few and far between

It looks like what Casita uses and should rotate but not sure it will with the spray foam.

The spray foam does not affect the rotation of the new sewer discharge.

I place my fingers on the sewer hose. When it stops vibrating, the flow has stopped. I don't need or want to observe the effluent.

Got to touch the hose one way or another.

I get that this is a change - it's just not restricted to a 45-degree angle from horizontal.

Jim, if you want to avoid buying a straight clear section, you can loosen the bolts, rotate the outlet up to horizontal, and keep using your 45-degree section... as long as the foam lets you get at both ends of all of the bolts.

I like to flush lil kids dinosaurs and soldiers, then I can see them fly by in the clear plastic tube. They go by in some pretty hilarious positions.

Maybe Davescape can answer but if its like the Casita it should rotate by hand.
