Glenn

Thanks for sharing those great pictures!

Before you left on your trip you were getting your converter replaced. Skagit 2 shows you with all lights on. Were you on shore power or is this proof that your Honda generator and new converter are working?

Hi: gbaglo...For a moment I thought I was seeing double. Here is a pic of how to use up the leftover fire wood. Alf

Re: Skagit 2

Reace replaced the converter and everything is working as it should, but I think I may have damaged the battery by not regularly checking the fluid levels over winter when the trailer was plugged into AC. I'm going to take the battery in to have it checked and probably buy a new one, paying more attention to maintenance. BTW, that's Keath's 19 in the background. I couldn't frame the shot with both trailers.
I used the generator twice to charge the battery when it got down to fair. Running the heater all night sucked power from it. Keath never did get to use his generator, with his dual 6V system. He was still in good shape after five days. I suspect I have a weak battery.

We only had enough bacon for breakfast so we used all the wood for the picture - a four second exposure with fill flash. Tripod and a remote to release the shutter.
