Re: Solace

You can pick a sample from just about any brand laminate, and Rona in Cillliwack can get it in for Reace.

Re: Solace

The plastic Laminate my significant other chose was:

Wilsonart Laminate, 4724-52 "Milano Amber".

We liked the colour but also the surface has a slight dimpled effect. Which makes it look more like stone.

Cheers, Bobccat

Re: Solace

Other advantages of the textured surface includes the fact that it does not show any light scratching, and it is not as reflective. The texture is what the "52" in that laminate means. We use very little laminate in kitchens and baths these days, but this type is usually preferred.

Re: Solace

OK, Let me get this right. Bobcat used a black hood and black stove, the sink looks like the optional stainless steel. Jim states he ordered or provided a custom stove and sink. The question remains, is the black stove an option from Escape?

Re: Solace

fudge, if you are willing to shell out the extra money for custom work and materials. Escape has a long reputation of meeting it's customers demands. But you will have to pay for labor and materials.
