Street View

I thought it was funny when Google caught my 17 in the driveway (I store it a couple miles away).

Now Bing caught us unloading the 21 after a trip last summer

Imagine my surprise, my Escape also! I thought the street view image of my house was about 5 years old, didn't know they'd been around last summer.

Google must be spying on us as well. This picture was taken between Sept-Oct 2014.

Here in the east coast, USA a lot of the metro areas have access alleys for commercial vehicles, deliveries, trash and other metro services as well as garages. Thus street views do not encompass alleys. I remember as a child the horse drawn vendors hawking their wares, fresh fruit and vegetables, knife sharpening, milk deliveries all taking place in the rear alleys.

Street View found us too. We must have just returned from a trip, as the trailer is in the driveway rather than on the gravel trailer pad. It appears to be the month of May, judging from the clematis over the front porch. We've since moved from Victoria to Chase, BC, so will have to wait for the next Google pass to see our 19 at our new home.

Sometimes there's lots of distortion in the google photos. In your case it makes it look like you have an Escape 29, or is there something you're not telling us?

Yes, they appear to have changed their lenses from earlier editions. I got a laugh at how the Vibe looks like a Smart car.

Amazing to see all those Escapes. Outside of the fact it would take me awhile to figure out how to get their picture on this forum, mine is under the cover in my driveway, so there isn't much to see, so not worth posting.
It was taken in 2011, prior to storing her.

Just use your snipping tool, to take a screen capture of the part of the screen you want in the file.

what's a snipping tool?
I'm on Mac and Firefox. I tried to do a screen capture, Command, shift, 4 but it doesn't work.

if that snap shot has too much info on it, then open "preview", left click and drag to select area. Hit the "toolbox" icon and 'crop' will appear.

just in case you need to know.

Ah, but command, shift 4 allows you to crop to just the area you want in the screen shot. When I try to do that Street View wants to change the angle or move up the street.
