Sorry, another newbie question - I thought the various control panels (like solar) are installed in upper cabinets, which seems to make for easy viewing. Is there a particular advantage for you to have the solar/propane panels mounted down low under the bench seat? j

Just to mention, on an EMS monitor for instance, just anywhere is not good because it constantly flashes the numbers, rolling through them, so you do not want to have it where it might bother you.

When we plug in, I always go to check the EMS monitor which can be seen from the doorway, so as not to think that the refrigerator is on, only to find later that the electric at the pedestal is off.

Depends on the model, the Escape 19' solar is upstairs, with the 21' and battery in the rear, it makes sense to put it downstairs. The propane is always mounted low since propane is a heavy gas.

The window over the sink looks a fair bit larger than they have been using. Is this so, or am I just imagining things?

Yes, it is larger, it is similar in size to the side curb rear on the 17, I believe. It is a slider and thermapane.

I had a similar thought. Window does look bigger than in the 19'.

One of the items I had Reace change were the small marker lights. I noticed on my 19' that the marker lights were sealed led models and were riveted to the trailer, whereas the large tail lights were screwed. Thinking ahead, in the event of a failure, I did not wish to have to drill/rivet the the marker light for replacement. I asked and Reace said he still had some of the older bulb type market lights which he can install (with rivets) but use modern LED bulbs. These can easily be replaced in the event of failure without having to remove the entire marker light.

I also requested Escape install LED lights under the bed, by each hatch. I was told that by code they could not do that, BUT, they can install the wiring and leave the lights in a drawer for later install by owner. I will install an inline time switch like this Woods 59013 Decora Style 8-4-2-1 Hour Electronic Timer, White - Amazon.com
this will keep the bath and front of the trailer warm since the propane furnace 8012 is next to the refer in the kitchen.

Jim, if my rememberer is correct, you didn't get a stove vent in the 19' but are getting one to match the black oven this time. Am I right? If so, what made you change your mind about the vent? If I'm wrong, it's sometimers disease...

The reason I got the vent was because of the awning window is no longer available and I wanted a source of fresh air in the rain or the winter. The stove vent will allow air without water intrusion. I plan on clipping it open outside and use without the fan, also a good source for winter's condensation elimination in conjunction with the MaxxFann.

Finally, it has an easily removable small light that can be replaced with a red LED bulb and left on for a nice night light. There are 2 additional LED stock overhead lights there for illumination when needed

Yea, it is Friday and you know what that means, picture time. BlackJack graphics, front light, 12v/front coaxial, and digital thermostat, removable power cord. I just noticed the front storage box seems more level than it was on my 19', it had almost a 30 degree slope, but not here, I like the look better.

Wow, really nice! I'm not sure where the jack antenna is? Is it the little nub over the bed between the fan and ceiling light? (causing light to be oriented side:side vs front:back like in the pics on escapetrailer.com? ) j
