Two new Escapes going home to Texas

We are on our way home from Chilliwack with our brand new 5.0. Our friends picked up their 19 at the same time. We make quite a statement driving down the highway with two new shiny Escapes and pickup trucks. We are getting lots of thumbs up from drivers passing us by.

Re: Two new Escapes going home to Texas

Hi: vmull... Very nice!!! We got the "Thumbs up" just this past weekend. A Hummer passed us on the 402 and the girl in the backseat put the window down for a double thumbs up.
Looks like you'll have double the fun on that trip!!! Alf

Re: Two new Escapes going home to Texas

Now I am envious. We got home last night and I did not see another Escape the entire trip. We did see about 15 Bolers between Vancouver and Glacier NP Canada.
Congratulations on your new homes.

Re: Two new Escapes going home to Texas

Vicki, Marv, Beverlee & Duke - Congrats to all four of you! That's one nice caravan you've got there.

We just got back from four days at South Llano River State Park outside of Junction, TX (max temp 108F). Fortunately the river was flowing with cool water for tubing and getting out of the heat. We'll be heading out for seven days at Canyon of the Eagles on Lake Buchanan later this week with similar hot weather in the forecast. Hopefully the lake will still have some water left for us to cool down in. It's a good thing that you opted for A/C on both trailers b/c you'll be needing it when you get back down here. We've been able to keep the inside of Grasshopper at a comfortable 76F which sure helps when it's time for sleeping.

Safe travels & have lots of fun on your trek back to TX.
Let us know if you'll be passing through Austin on your way back to Canyon Lake & SA.

Reace and Tammy,

We're sorry we missed you too, but Dave was excellent, as well as the rest of the staff . They all took good care of us.

Re: Two new Escapes going home to Texas

Brad and Shay,

We are planning to be at the (Casita) fiberglass rally in Austin on August 25-28, at the Austin Lone Star RV Resort. Can you make it?

RALLY HOSTS - Ken & Yolie Rodd, cell phone 210 887 8827, email: dwgken@aol.com

P.S. Don't let the Casita name fool you. There are lots of fiberglass brands at the Texas rallies.

Vicki
