Only slightly more serious...
The Airstream club people decided to assign WBCCI numbers to their members, and put them on the trailers (although they identify the member, not the trailer). If Escape owners want an easy way to identify a trailer, they could put the last three digits of the serial number (if in the first 1000 built) on the front and rear of the trailer in decent-sized digits. The next 1000 could use the last three digits plus a "1" in front, and so on, so the number would be sequential and unique among Escapes. Just a thought...
