Escape 19 Dimensions

While waiting for our 19' to be built, we are working on how to store our "stuff". To help figure this out, we asked ETI for dimensions of the cabinets and Tammy sent us this helpful diagram. It might be helpful for others.

Hi Bob and Katie! Thanks for posting the dimensions. This is most helpful. I'm picking up my new home in April, and am wondering how I'm gonna accommodate all my stuff. So this is great! Hope you can get yours sooner than Oct!

Oooh, thanks! Do you know whether the dinette bench dimensions are internal or external? 19" height seems a bit large if the door is 11"-12" or so high, but it makes sense if it's external dimensions including the cushion.

I wouldn't get too hung up on those dimensions. The spaces aren't entirely 100% usable. Just because you have dimensions doesn't mean you can put hard side objects near that size in the spaces.

We probably carry more "stuff" than most. I'm especially guilty between my tools and spare parts. I wouldn't spend too much time in advance trying to find a specific place for things. Nothing stays the same. Your first placement of stuff might change after you've used the trailer a few times.

I am still revising my storage after eight years. You'll find that some stuff is used so infrequently that it can be stashed in the least accessible place. And, some stuff can just be left at home.

Very true Glenn. In addition, depending on the outing at hand we often adjust our checklist or quantities needed. Expecting visitors? Might add a couple of bag chairs. We take a lot of stuff but careful packing and soft bags instead of hard sided boxes
seem to work well for us. We also consider whether or not we are going to buy anything that would be difficult to haul like an antique wheel or something. We also
vary the size of cooler we take in the tow vehicle.
