I'm taking my brand new 19 out for the first time tomorrow -- going to the Smoky Mountains, where there's no cell service.
I thought having these vids on my hard drive would be oh so helpful

Claude, do you have a work around for the "404 error" you can share with the other forum members who may want to download copies?

Since ETI produced these videos for the education and support of their customers, I would suggest that we contact them to determine if posting copies of the files in the forum section where manuals, etc., are kept would be acceptable to them. Several of their customers are interested in watching them before picking up their trailer, to make the orientation process smoother. Many established customers find the availability of an offline library useful for solving on-the-road challenges when internet access is unavailable. I suspect many forum members new to Escape are unaware of the ETI YouTube channel.… I believe the 404 error results because the original poster took down the shared Dropbox folder. Another advantage of obtaining ETI’s permission is that missing videos 4 and 8 could be added to the archive. In any case, making the ETI YouTube channel more evident by placing a link on the forum homepage could be considered… Perhaps ETI could provide a thumb drive copy of the orientation videos with each new trailer.

I'm sure Escape would want easy access to their videos here on the Escape Forum.....most of what we already have in the file section was produced by them....

Thanks, for making these available offline, MadCAT3! Knowledge is powerful, and I've already learned much which will prepare to ask appropriate questions at orientation. Mystery of mysteries, I couldn't find the videos on YouTube until after I'd downloaded these, but I'm nonetheless glad to have ongoing access to the offline versions.

Thanks much. We don't pick up until June but I want to make sure I have them with us offline. I used to like the afternoon shift being a night owl myself!

Can I jump on that bandwagon? We're picking our new 21 up in April, and I'd like to study up before hand.

Use ClipGrab software and download/save the videos off YouTube. It's free.

Since the thread doesn’t have a link to the actual Escape videos on YouTube here it is:

Appropriating the 'Work Product' of another with 'free' software is dishonest.

Odd how someone who would never think about stealing anything thinks this is ok. 'Everyone does it'

Ask any software or web developer how they feel about 'Pirates'

Google, owner of YouTube, appropriates data from all of our lives every day in every way they can and sells it. They make opting out difficult and fight all attempts at regulation.

If Escape doesn't want their videos shared openly that is different to some degree. But most of this forum is about sharing info about the trailers and promoting them.
