17B 2004 in BC for sale

2004 17B for sale.
I am the second owner of this trailer, purchased on consignment from the first owner via Reace at Escape in October 2008. It was in great shape then and is in great shape now, (with some minor issues).
It features a toilet (no shower) and I made a bunk so that two of us could sleep at the front. It also has a full length closet. The teenagers are going off to university, so we need to reluctantly sell this fine trailer. $10,750 CDN. Never smoked in, no pets inside. I always covered it in the winter to reduce solar and rain exposure.

It features: 3 way fridge, 2 burner stove, furnace, single propane tank, single battery (new it 2012), fantastic fan, manual awning, rock guards, spare tire. No hot water, just cold, I think with a 25 gal tank. Not sure of the size of the gray water or septic tank. It came with an equalizer hitch bars which you can have. I never needed them pulling with a Dodge Dakota.

What is wrong with it? I appreciate that anyone who comes from miles away wants to know the issues. They are: I had an electrical problem whereby plugging into 110 would always blow the breaker of the 110 source, such as the house, garage or campground outlet. Problem got solved by disconnecting the trailer’s exterior plug. If I need an outlet outside the trailer I use the second one beside the fridge 110. Also, three interior lights do not work, must be a minor electrical flaw too.
On the front window cover, the decal “Escape” is starting to fade and wear (see photo).
Awning is in good shape, but there is a minor bit of grayish mildew staining in places.
Some very minor surface scratches on driver’s side from a bungy cord used to fasten the winter cover, probably 6” in total length.

I am located near Penticton, BC, about an hour north of Oroville, WA, 8 hours from Calgary, 4.5 hours from Vancouver, an hour south of Kelowna, BC.
I have lots of photos to send anyone who might want to see.

Thank you, yes it is. It doesn't have the fancy systems that some of the Escape's have today, but I do appreciate its simplicity. I think the serial number indicates it was #10 in production, but can't be sure. Anyway, I love how it tows, easy to park, for family or couple needs that it was JUST big enough, it was warm when it needed to be and not too warm on a summer day (without A/C).
Oh well, life goes on and time to let someone else to enjoy this 17B.

If you are attending the Escape Rally in June at Osoyoos BC, my trailer for sale is an hour north in Naramata.

Naramata is 10 miles northeast of Penticton, or 48 miles north of Osoyoos.

Another way to put it: we are about 44 wineries north of the rally campground!

JUne 7 - 9 special: buy our beloved 2004 17B and get a bonus bottle of Laughing Stock Vineyard's Portfolio, a multi-award winning beautiful Bordeaux style blend bold red wine from Naramata & Osoyoos that retails for $42 with Merlot grapes grown right beside where our 17B parks.

(or come anytime before the rally and get the same deal!)

Thanks, Craig. craig @ vip . net

It may be worth your while to bring it down to the rally and "visit" one day and show off your product, you will have a captive audience!!
never in doubt, often wrong
