Where are you in GA? This could be worth a ride to check it out.

I can't help but ask. Is that two exterior showers on the driver's side or is one being used as a hatch for something else?

I believe in the early 5.0 the hatch cover for access to the leveling legs looked like the exterior shower. Notice there is one on the curb side, behind the awning arm. These allow operation of the front leveling legs.

The two switches to operate the landing gear are behind the front access hatch on the drivers side. The one on the passenger side is just an open empty hatch which can be used for items you may wish to use outside.

We're at Fort Benning but will be gone to FL and AL from tomorrow until next Thursday.

Adrian

on edit - I see where you are at Seneca. We plan to stop overnight either the 7th or 8th April at Douglas Dam campground east of Knoxville. That's likely closer for you.

Adrian,

Thanks for the offer to meet in Knoxville. As you can see by my profile, I have an Escape 21. I was inquiring about your trailer for a friend. When I called him, he informed me that he had purchased one last Sunday.

Best of luck on you sale.

That is awesome, Adrian. You and Beth deserve this move.

Some one will be getting a good trailer with this one you are selling.

2007 Escape 5.0

Adrian,
Are the interior dimensions similar to the new Escape 5.0TA? I'm tall and want to be able to stand, sleep, and sit like a normal person. I also live near the twin cities in MN. If things work out I would love to see your trailer.
Adrian

Yes, my name is Adrian too!

Sorry Adrian just saw this now as we've been traveling without internet. I do believe the dimensions are the same as far as height goes. The main difference is that with the straight walls there is slightly more upper cabinet space in the 2017 and later models. Perhaps someone who knows for sure will chime in.

I have quite a bit of interest and may not even get home from this trip with the trailer, however if we are bringing it home likely will be passing through Duluth so could meet there. I would let you know.

I believe if you sell it in the US, you will still have to take it back to Canada and the buyer will have to import it to the States.

Yes that's correct Glenn. I've had lots of enquiries from the US and each one I tell that they would have to meet me to pick up the trailer at a Cdn. border crossing. Some have then not followed up or said they were no longer interested. My most promising prospective sale though is to someone in Quebec.

A significant difference in size between the original 5.0 and the 5.0TA (of any year in either style) is the width: the 5.0 is the width of the 17 Foot model (80 inches overall outside width), while the 5.0TA is the the width of the 21 Foot model (88 inches overall outside width). That's 8 inches or 20 centimetres of extra width, outside and in.
