2012 Escape 15a asking $19,500 Cdn - near Vancouver BC.
We are selling our much loved 15a. Its in great shape. We are asking $19,500 CDN. A few of the standard items are:
54 bed Note the bed in the 15a is larger than the beds in any 17a or 17b.
Front dinette converts to single bed.
Awning
Screen door
20 lb propane tank
12v deep cycle battery new this year.
Furnace
3-way fridge
Fantastic fan
Electric brakes
Interior height 6 2
12v demand water system
Options purchased when built.
Extra insulation and thermal windows
Counter extension
All LED lighting interior and exterior
Wired for A/C currently there is a roof vent.
Exterior access hatch on rear passenger side
Built in microwave
Additional window over sink
2 bike rack receiver
Portable toilet with cabinet access door
Hitch Wheel
Add-a-room around awning. It comes in 3 pieces. We mainly used single sections as a wind break.
My addition
I wanted some storage on the front hitch and added a shelf with a large volume waterproof flexible bag where we carry items such as firewood, levelling blocks etc. The rack is mounted with U bolts and easily removed if desired. The bag easily lifts off and onto the rack.
A trailer cover.
Outdoor mat
The Fiberglass is in wonderful shape. No cracks. There are no tears or stains inside the trailer. It is a non smoking trailer and no pets. The weight with our gear in it is approximately 2300 pounds.
We retired last year and will be travelling more and have upgraded to a 19 foot Escape.

The empty weight according to our Escape document is as follows:
Axle weight 1560 pounds
Tongue weight 190 pounds.
Total weight 1750 pounds.
There is no grey water holding tank. We used a tub that fit into the sink and never actually used the sink.

It looks so nice. I love my 15A. FYI- it was easy to import to the US from Canada.

A model grey water drain
FYI: Here is the A model sink drain, and a typical exterior receptacle for grey water.

We have a 13a. Have no problems pulling it with our 2010 Outback 2.5 4cyl. Where you might get into trouble is with the tongue wt. outback’s only certify 200lbs. On all their models 4 or 6 cyl. It’s to do with the frame not the pulling capacity of the engine.
