2013 Escape 5.0 $26,500 US Dollars

Very unique single axle 5th wheel. Great Condition must see!!!

Two Piece Fiberglass Shell Construction
The Escape 5.0 Classic represents high quality. The 100% molded fiberglass body is hand-laid in a two piece mold. Our fiberglass team bonds the upper and lower halves together before the shell is demolded and bolted to the frame. Anchor blocks are fiberglassed in strategic points inside the trailer to which interior walls and natural oak cabinetry are securely mounted creating a solid, structurally sound interior/exterior. This solid one-piece fiberglass shell is strong, durable, easy to clean and completely waterproof.

Sounds like a 5.0 Classic, not a TA (twin axle)....

How did you acquire this trailer, did someone trade it in?

We took the unit in on trade, the couple wanted to upgrade to something bigger with bunks for grandchildren.

I made a two hour trip to the dealer and looked at the trailer. There was a major storm happening but we did get a quick look. It seems to be a very nice trailer in good condition. They were offering a lifetime maintenance warranty as part of the deal. I think it covered appliances, Frig. , A/C, and things of that type.

I'm surprised someone traded it in rather than sell it through the forum.

Dodd RV needs to update their website ad as it is very misleading giving the description, specifications & features of the TA which they're well aware of it is not. They even show the TA floor plan which is also obviously incorrect.

Some states with trade in you only pay sales taxes on the difference in value, possible the other unit cost less, thus no additional taxes on a trade in.
