SOLD: 2014 Escape 17B For Sale - Near New Condition
2014 Escape 17B Trailer
As much as it pains me to do this we are offering for sale our 2014 17B trailer. I purchased it new in September, 2014 from Escape Industries, so it's only been off the lot for 1 1/2 years. I'm ashamed to say that we haven't even depleted the first tank of propane in it yet. It's pretty much as close to new as it gets as it's only seen 3 weeks of use.
It's been stored under cover since almost new and I gave it a thorough wash and wax before storing it for the winter. I've removed the batteries and cushions to keep them dry at home. It's stored about 10 minutes from our home (Maple Ridge, B.C.) and I'd be happy to show it to anyone interested, but I work through the week during the day so I would have to show it in the evenings or weekends.
I do have a few photos (not very good) but if there's a keen interest I can take more. It's the standard Escape colour pattern with the exterior Red Spectra graphics and standard 17B interior. Where I have it stored it's very tight quarters, so it's difficult to get good unhindered outside shots.
Besides the standard excellent quality 17B package here are the major options/inclusions we had ETI install prior to purchase (Note: no air conditioning, but hey, this is B.C. the sun only shines every 10th day...):
- Thermal Window Package and Extra insulation
- LED Interior Light Package
- Gaucho Bunk Ready
- Prewired for Solar Panel (no solar panel though)
- Dual 6V Interstate #GC2-XHD-UTL batteries (the only way to go)
- Dual Propane Tanks
- Exterior Propane Quick Connect c/w 12' hose and adapter
- Exterior Shower
- All Aluminum Rims
- Extra 12V outlet
- Hitch Wheel
- Bike Rack Ready
- Removable Power Cord
- White Enamel Sink and Stove
- Surge Protector
- ETI Starter Kit
- Standard RM2354 fridge
- All accessories, dishes, cutlery, cleaning products, etc. are included
Asking price: $24,000 CANADIAN (heck that's only about $5,000 US right? ) . I will look at reasonable offers, but I think this is a fair price. If not, I'm sure someone will let me know..
Edited to add: I forgot to include that this trailer has already had the ETI hitch frame warranty fix. It was done at Escape Trailer in Chilliwack so was a dealer warranty completed fix.
Cheers
Al

Allan, you can sell it for what you paid even. They are in short supply, you took good care and did not really use it.

Hi folks:
Whew... I had no idea the response I would get in posting this ad. As an update I have promised to hold off until next weekend to allow the first person who contacted me (from out of town) an opportunity to look at it. If they are not interested I will contact each person in the order they contacted me.
As for price I appreciate the input on maybe listing it too low, but I'm going to stick to my original asking price as I don't feel right bumping it up after the initial post. I will probably be holding firm to the asking price though.
Thanks again everyone. I will update the ad if/when it sells.
Al

It seems I can't edit my post right now for some reason, but I made an error in my original description of the sink and stove. I must have had a brain block but I see I listed it as stainless steel - but it's not! It's the white enamel material and not stainless - same for the vent hood. I'm sorry for any confusion that I may have caused. If I can edit it I will change as soon as possible.

Reply to your trailer
Hello Allan,
I'm interested in your Escape trailer. Questions I can think of at the moment are: does it have an oven? Furnace? Awning? I'm not sure what a goucho bunk is, but does it take the place of some of the storage area? Otherwise, it seems like it's what I'm looking for. Am willing to pay your asking price. I'd like to see it, but I live in eastern Oregon, USA, which would take me about 2 days to get there, so it would take me a bit of planning time. How can I make sure it won't be sold before I get there?
