I agree with Cathy,
Dave has the side by the wall (outside) and does not disturb me at all when he gets out. He just scoots down - there is plenty of room at the foot of the bed for him to stand up and walk around the end of the bed..

Maybe we're different but we've always thought the best part of the night was the crawl-over....

The crawl over was never a big deal for us either. We often both did or mid night trip at the same time.

Crawlin over

I am with you on the crawlin over. I'm old but I am not dead. We're doing a little practice dancing tonight in the great room, in anticipation of the wedding on Saturday. Jake looks a little confused.

Sometimes the crawl over gets old -- at the beginning of our past trip I had bursitis on my knee and that made it a challenge -- but by the end of the summer it was no longer an issue -- What I like in our 19 is waking up and being surrounded by morning light and whatever view is all around us. I know that's not for everyone -- we've had guests in our house who have told me the window shades are not dark enough to keep out the morning sun, but for me that's a plus. I also like that since the bed is in the rear of the trailer we often don't have to pull all the shades for privacy because there are just trees out there, so we wake up to the view.

That is one thing I loved about the 19, and have reservations about with the 5.0. I too loved being able to wake up and look out and about, on days it was not dark when I got up that is. Light does not bother me at all for sleeping.

When I built my cabin , I put a 29" X 48" skylight in all 3 bedrooms. I like the morning sun but my wife and kids are not so enamored with the sun in the early morning. The bed in our Casita is surrounded by windows so the Escape 21 would take some getting used to .

Agree there's plenty of room at the foot end on the 21 to stand up, then walk over to the bath. Even simpler on the bath side with the cut corner!

Hi: Jim Bennett... Unless you cover the "Exit" hatch over the bed you won't have to be concerned about light in the morning. We found sunup to be too early in BC. for our taste!!! Alf
