Exciting Day
Just wanted to tell my good news. I decided to splurge and ordered a new 2018 Escape 21. Trying to find a pre-owned was just to difficult. Look forward to any advice you all out there may give me

I just checked the currency conversion. $40,000 Canadian will cost you only $32,000.
Get everything you think you might want.

We did too, this past Saturday! We are stoked also.
We had a similar experience in the lack of used ones. Plus, it gives us an excuse to take a big bucket trip out to the northwest.

Diane, if you took the early April date this morning I want to say thanks. We were waiting for a May date and it came up this afternoon once someone took the April. Happy planning!! I totally understand your excitement!

Congratulations my wife and I took delivery of our 21 last July and have already made some wonderful memories. We love the size and all the storage. I’m sure you will have lots of fun picking out your options our favourite is the U shaped diner.
Again congratulations on joining the “Escapees”

Congrats to both (or is it 3 different upcoming new owners in this post?)!
Main advice - read about every thread you can on here. Look at all the photos. Ask a bazillion questions. Get lots of fabric and formica samples. Haul 'em to the flooring stores to see how they all look together. (Assuming you're getting custom flooring, fabric and countertop.) Pull out lots of hair narrowing down your choices. Waffle on your decisions a few times. Or more.
Don't ask me how I know all that.
Other main advice - if you don't have it already, sign up for Amazon Prime. You're gonna make good use of it.

And set up "reserved parking" signs in front of your home, for the UPS and USPS trucks!
Congrats.

Few months later, you can call up Got Junk to take away all the stuff you don't need.
Don't buy a Coleman oven. You can have mine.

We did just that when we ordered our 2016 19 and added $10,000 worth of options (Canadian) and don't regret it a bit. With the exchange rate it's a good deal.

Exciting Day
Trying to figure out how to reply to several of you. This should cover all. Our 19 is sold and gone. We waited a few days to long to order our 2018 21 and are scheduled for May delivery. Re: exchange rate, my husband handles the $$$ matters and will be watching the Canadian/USD closely the next few months may make or lose a few dollars?? Diane L

You could just pay in advance if you're worried about the rate worsening. Trying to time it is like timing stocks, maybe impossible.
We might "cost average" ours this way.
