I can remember some "interesting" posts in the middle of the night several times. They were coming from overseas in their daytime. You would stay up very late but you would have to have been up all night for those guys.

Hi CPA, HokieEscape here. I don't think I actually listed Hokie "For Sale", but responded to
Someone 2 Counties over, here in Va, who wanted a 5.0! They bought her the next day! So, if I did list it, please move it to sold!!!
Thanks so much,
Dan

Dan, I still have not received payment for the improvements I did to Hokie Escape. No doubt that made it much more saleable.

And to keep Spammers confused there used to be other canned meat products like Spam such as Bif and Mor. One time a warehouse filled with lumber, Spam and pirelli tires burned in Cedar Rapids about 6 blocks from where we lived. About the most distinctive odor I have stored on The Banc De Olfactory.

Hi Jim!!!!! Thanks for responding .. yeah, the picture of you with that SawsAll is etched permanently in my brain. That was a fun time!
Last Aug 31 I reFIREd (as opposed to reTIREd - I'm not tired yet .. but am Fired up about this new phase of life). We moved (after 45 years in Blacksburg - Hokie Land), 2 1/2 hrs Closer to the Outer Banks of NC, and a half hour from son #2 and his 7 kids!! When we moved, we bought a house in the woods, on a lake (just like the camping spots we always sought after☺️ So basicly, we moved to a permanent camping spot, and we love it. Hated to let Hokie go, but with the grands so close, and getting older (the grands, not us) we found we weren't traveling as much. Only camped 3 times last year and 2 of those were mission trips to the Kentucky Appalachians. We hated to sell it, but that dissipated quickly when the young couples faces lit up with great joy after buying Hokie!!! They are SOOOOO excited!
So, I see you made the move to a 5.0 TA (actually the 1st TRUE Escape 5.0 ... mine was actually a 3.0 ). God bless you and yours,
Dan
Still doing pizzas in that little outdoor "tent"?

Hi
We are newbies at this and hoping to buy a 19 Escape that is now posted. Do you think it is risky to offer someone a down payment, who has posted the trailer on this forum? I know you say to determine the authenticity of the person but am not sure exactly how to determine this so if you have any suggestions, it would be appreciated.
Thank you
Marg & Tony

You can always use an escrow service to hold the funds until conditions are met and you are confident they can be released.

If you click on the person's name that made the "for sale" post, you will see a selection "find other posts by". You could then review their posts and get an idea if the seller is legit or if you need to be cautious.
