North Carolina, USA: Want a 17B - will travel
We are looking to buy a 17B. We entered this same post last August, and are still hanging on to the dream. We plan to be at the EggsCursion Rally in Townsend, TN in April, hoping to at least get a good look at one, maybe even make a purchase.

Took me over a year to find the ONE model of Casita I wanted on the used market. Patience counts but when one pops up on the market they sell in days, not weeks. When I sold my Casita 17LD the new owner exited the driveway less than 48 hours after I put it up for sale on the forums.

Thanks Jim and Linda. I saw your ad. It is just a tad farther than I wanted to travel. Or was delivery included? lol
Sound like a nice unit though. I'm sure you will have no trouble finding it a new home.

I get it Charlie. I can hope, but I'm not betting on success. Why did you sell your Casita Liberty?

I'm betting there's a one word answer for that: "Felicity".

That's revealing Robert. What is it about Casita that, in selling one, you find so euphoric?

Charlie's new Escape is called "Felicity". You asked why he sold his Casita.

Wifey was retiring and decided we needed a bit larger rig after several multi-week trips since we'd be adding our 2 small dogs and grandkids to our travels. Also needed a permanent bed with a 4 inch rise at the head end for her stomach issues; having to set up/tear down all the extra bed parts to do that in a Casita was just too big a hassle. We liked the Casita for short runaways of a week or so, but we LOVE the Escape 21 much more!

No doubt the 21 is superior in every way! We know about setting up and tearing down the bed everyday... no fun.
