Be honest

Thanks forall the replys. I asnt that picky but when the pictures you are sentare not even of that trailer people are being deceptive. Onewe looked at said no pets. When we got there all the cushions and cupboards were shredded from cats. I found one finally that just needed to be cleaned. I can accept that but not fraudulent pictures or ones that are totally deceiving.

Perhaps, a sticky on the "For Sale/Wanted" subforum could be used by members to state their willingness to check out trailers and the geographic area they'd be willing to cover.

Personally, I wouldn't want to put anything in writing that could come back to haunt me.
Oh, I guess that's not true.

Of course, any check-out by another forum member is just a personal opinion, carrying no commitment or liability. That's still useful to weed out undesirable offerings.

One thing a local member could do is simply take photos of the actual trailer - especially the less-presentable areas; they would be useful even without assessment or even comment.

Good idea. Pix are worth a thousand words, or at least a couple.

In addition to the situations Halloree has encountered, I would also like to bring up the sellers who claim to have a B model Escape, when they really have a modified A model. I have contacted sellers this year who have advertise a B model for sale. Come to find out, they have an A model that a toilet added, but no shower. To me, this is basically an A model that has been modified or was built with additional options. If these people would look at the schematics of the A and B models, they will notice that the bathroom in the B model is one with a toilet, shower and sink. Some also have an A model, with a toilet added, and an OUTSIDE shower, advertised as a B model.

For those of us, looking for a TRUE B MODEL, this is misleading.

Some people are just clueless.
I drove for an hour because the seller told me he had a 16mm Bolex movie camera for sale. It was an cheapo 8mm Kodak.
He's lucky I didn't shove it down his throat.
Another hour home.

Good thing you are retired Gbaglo and have some time .

my beloved Liz (who is retired) put in way more hours and bought a lot of US dollars just to be ready to deal on an old Escape that wasn't up to what she wanted. We should have asked more questions before she set off on the trek.
