Please forgive my ignorance but I don't understand what you are trying to convey . I tried looking it up in a Canadian to English dictionary but all I got was more confused.
Is a burn the same as a campfire ?

Have fun,

Waiting for clarification from Mark. There are a few campgrounds around Tofino and Ucluelet. We had a fabulous vacation during our stay at Bella Pacifica in August 2016.

So if I started drinking this thread would all make sense ?
No need to translate cause the Canadian to English translation would just increase my confusion.
Thanks Glenn for trying !!

Count me in the confused bracket.

I google mapped it and got this: "...Tofino is a small district on Vancouver Island, off Canada's west coast. It sprawls on a peninsula within Clayoquot Sound, characterised by wild natural scenery including lakes, inlets and ancient rainforest. Sandy beaches with year-round surfing facilities include Cox Bay, Chesterman Beach and popular Long Beach, part of the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. The relaxed town of Tofino sits on the peninsula's tip.."

Oh, that clears it up. (Or not)

He got a haircut outside his trailer. The barber trimmed one sideburn and left him with “a” burn.

Lol. Hi everyone. We are at Crystal Cove in Tofino which has adequate but not great Wifi. What was suppose to go with my Post was a picture of the fire pit beside our trailer. Picture will have to wait as the Wifi is having trouble with photos. Thanks for all the comments.

Don't you mean English to American? As in my American nephew says in other countries, "they don't speak American here."

It's the beach Myron, it's all about the beach. Nothing like being there when there's a Pacific gale blowing and the surf's rolling in. In the old days you could just show up, put a tent on the beach, no charge, no reservations. Sigh, like a lot of things that's not the way it is now. Should be on your bucket list.

Soon as I saw Tofino on the Google map I knew it was a beach for my bucket list. Planning San Diego in late January next, Ron, but....got cold feet...scratched Mexico. For my international tweak -hello Canada. A trip next summer, I hope. Been reading all them eventful border crossing stories. Not daunted of course, and I speak the English.

No one really camps in Tofino in Dec. It's a bit wet and windy some times. And foggy...
But give it a go and report back .

Yeah, but it's getting into the wild winter storm weather. This is the ocean at its finest.
