Wanted Escape 5.0

My wife and I would like to purchase a fifth wheel Escape 5.0 (single axle).
We want to step up in size from our Trillium 1300. Can I say Trillium on this forum :-)
Thanks

Welcome Dirk, yes you can mention the other brands, most of us have owned other types of fg and non fg models. What is your tow vehicle?

what do I tow with?

I have a 2009 Tacoma V6 TRD 4x4. I don't think towing a 5.0 will be a problem.

Welcome to the EscapeForum Dirk. You've made a good choice, I'm kinda partial to the 5ers, both models.

Most all molded towable brands are more alike than different. You may have something you know that worked(s) in your Trillium that would help Escape owners too. We like to share information.

Good luck on your hunt!

Welcome. The Tacoma has a composite bed right? There are postings about that here.

I'm checking all the info. on 5th wheels and small trucks... a few guys don't like Tacoma's size for towing 5th wheels.
Yes it has a composite box. I heard you have to go through it and mount it directly to the frame.

If I were to ever upgrade to a 5er i'd be hard pressed not to install the Anderson Hitch.

Things may have changed, but I liked the Frontiers. When I looked at them they had the most power of the small trucks.

Thanks again for your replies.
Because of the low Canadian dollar it makes it very expansive for us to buy your trailer.
The exchange is just killing us right now. Your trailer at 26000 US converts to 32700 Can.
too much for my retired teachers budget...
