After looking at their site map, I don't know how one would select a particular site. What would be the criteria? They all look the same to me. I also don't get how one backs in to sites on one side of the road, unless the road is two way.

We booked last week...

Today was the first day they were taking reservations. The lady I talked to said nothing of being bumped for any reason. Tammy said they have the whole C loop booked for that weekend.

I made a reservation for five days via the internet. After getting no response other than a $50 charge on my credit card, I emailed and asked if my reservation was confirmed. They did send back an email with a confirmation number for the dates I requested but I did not get a site number. I had given them a list of 6 different sites that I would prefer, based on looking at the little popup photos on the park map. But I guess it will just be a matter of taking what we're given...

I am so happy to see that everyone is getting registered for the rally. I will confirm sites and number in the new year so that everyone will know where they are and see who wants to change.

If you could please let me know once you have registered so I can keep track of how many people are coming that would be great...

These operators do not inspire confidence. I phoned three hours ago. Got "all our operators are busy assisting other customers". What a joke.
After the prompt, I left a message. Apparently they are busy keeping their other customers busy.

You should pick a spot down near the lake, where you can step out of your trailer and wade in the lake.

At least you didn't say "go jump in the lake".

The Escapers are supposed to be in the c-section. I'm guessing that C11 - C34 should be decent sites. But, what you see on a map and even on Google Earth can be deceiving.

Anyway, I just need somebody to call me back.

You could get faster service by making your reservations on-line. The park is owned by as you call them First Nation. Besides the campground they have a Winery and a hotel to run. It is almost Christmas send them something nice in the Post and I am sure they will return your call.

I'm booked June 3,4 and 5.

Besides wine, they also have a snack stand that sells samosas.

Hello Everyone,

Well now that the new year has arrived I called NK'Mip to inquire about how many spots we have reserved/available at this time as well as inquire as to why we cannot reserve specific sites.

At this time there are only 20 people registered and their concern is that we will not book the entire 50 sites they have put aside for us. If we are unable to reserve the entire 50 sites then they will move us closer together. If we book the entire 50 sites then we will be able to select specific sites because we have the entire upper level.

Another point they asked me to mention is that if anyone has difficutly walking and would like to be close to the clubhouse for the activities please let them know when you reserve as there are some sites very close to the Clubhouse they have put aside for us.

We hope everyone has had a great holiday and is now very eager to pass through winter into the summer weather.

Hello Everyone,

Well now that the Snowdrops are blooming and the Daffodils are poking there way through the soil. ... not to mention a friendly reminder from Glenn

I have called the NK'Mip campground in Osooyoos to find out how many sites have been reserved.

At this time 33 sites/people have confirmed their reservation, which means that we have 21 sites still available. These sites will be available to us until May 20th at which time they will become available to the campers.

I can confirm that we will be together as a group. We will remain at the upper level as this is close to the covered BBQ area, and we will have a large open field that we all face onto for games or group activites (lawn chairs and bottles).

If you have not already done so....check out the website. Gale and Betty dropped of some brochures from the campground which include the Thirsty Turtle Beach Bar, Spa Service - Ladies!!!, Cultural Center, Winery, Riding Stables....WoW!!!

I will be providing another update towards the end of April.

Finally booked today. I was at the North Oregon Gathering on the weekend. I wish we had arrived earlier in the day. This time, though, we will probably arrive quite late. I can't get time off work.

I told the young lady that we were booking for the Escape rally, but I failed to ask her for a status update. She did not give me a site number.

Talking with folks at the Spring NOG got me sufficiently motivated for the camping season that I stopped waffling around and started making reservations!! So, I got confirmation from Osoyoos today! and will definitely be joining y'all for the Escape Rally.

Hopefully, I'll have another boat by then and can join the paddling contingent. I just sold my kayak (cockpit was too difficult to get into after knee surgery) and am busily searching Craigslist and my local dealers for another day touring kayak with a bigger cockpit.
