Sorry to hear you can't make it. Please check with Donna D. for procedures for canceling your reservation, so anyone on a waiting list can ice up your reservation...

Jon, have done that, just made a post on three forums to get the word out. I'm following the procedure that Donna posted on the Casita forum. Speaking of Donna, I'll miss seeing her and her new Escape.

Since the Fiberglass Trailer Rally is here in Bandon and there will be all models of the Escapes present. We would like to arrange tours for each of the Escape models.

I know that the Oregon Rally Open House Day is on Saturday but from my experience rally open house days can be very chaotic. Some people want to see all of the Mods. Others are just looking for interior design ideas. Some just want to see what changes there may have been in different year models. Since the Oregon Rally is a mixed brand rally, I am sure a lot of people will want to see inside of the Escapes just to find out why people would be willing to spend so much and wait so long for an Escape.

We would like to have quieter, longer, uninterrupted, “showroom” tours, of an Escape 17 and an Escape 21.

MarksAlot from this forum has already graciously offered to give us a tour of his brand new Escape 19

Feel free set up a time to check out my 17B. I'm here in Bandon now. Lots of modifications - I have a web page showing them here.

I am sure that most of you Escape forum readers have only come to Bandon to see Donna D’s shiny new 5th wheel.

If you walk away thinking “I might want to sell my Escape 19 or Escape 21 and order a new Escape 5th wheel”.

Send me a Private Message. We are only a few miles away, we could come over to look at your trailer and discuss your plans.

For anyone interested, I've started a page of images from the Gathering at my LakeshoreImages site. I'll add more images as the rally progresses.

Looks like hordes of fun. Sure would love to be able to afford the time to go some year.

Ladderball? Yet another name to the game of Snake Toss. Ladder Golf is one I have heard before too, plus a bunch of others. Regardless of the name, or the rules one plays by (they do differ a fair bit), it sure is a fun game. We have played it for many years now, and it is second only to all terrain bocce.

Does anyone know a good low cost vet in Bandon that is available on Saturday? Blizzard started limping yesterday and is really favoring his right front paw this morning. He may have picked up a sticker, but several of us have checked but can't feel anything in his paws. He's 13 (human years) and is slowing down, but he was holding up his right front paw this AM. You may PM me any info you have if you don't want to post here.

If there is a vet, or vet tech here at the gathering, that would be wonderful too. Right now we're calling him gimpy.

Thank you all in advance. Blizzy is the one on the right, in a pic from home last month. They just got back from the groomers.

If you really want vet help on the weekend, you'll probably have to scope out what's available in Roseburg, and go there.

Not sure about a vet, but there some some nasty burrs in the grass around the meeting area at Bullard's Beach. Tashi picked one up a couple years ago, but we were able to get it out ourselves. They're tiny, but not when they are between a dogs toes.
There's a groomer on the other side of town who may be able to help...right off the highway on the road to the beaches.

Called and made an appointment with Ocean Boulevard Veterinary Hospital at 2:40 PM today to have Blizzy checked out and hopefully see what the problem is.

During the morning walk he was limping less and a longer walk about 45 minutes ago he's limping much less, but I'm still taking him in to get checked out.

Thank you so much to everyone for their helpful input. I'll post an update after the vet visit. We're in A03, in the shiny new 2014 Escape 19.

Blizzy update

Went to Ocean Boulevard Veterinary Hospital and they were very helpful. No burrs, or sticky things in Blizzy's paws. Just old age. We figure going from a hot arid valley climate to a humid coastal area and jumping down a little to hard on his front paw(s) caused some inflammation in his right elbow. Doctor prescribed an anti-inflammatory 2X/day and we can come back if needed on Monday.

Blizzy is feeling a little better and give a day or so for the medication to work, it should help make him more comfortable.

A big thank you from all of us to all of those who helped. The fiberglass community is a wonderful family.

The Oregon Gathering is where Escape sells more trailers. In 2009 it was the 19ft, last year was the 21ft and this year is the 21ft 5th wheel. Saturday trailer tours are fun people can show their mods.
