I know that the great popularity of this event has been discussed before, but I just thought I would mention that in this specialty corner of the RV industry, making 108 units over the lifetime of the company could easily be considered success. Having over a hundred happy customers gather at an annual event is spectacular!

I found the map on the Nk'mip site impossible to read. Site numbers are blurred mush.
This may be more legible, a photo of my hard copy map.

I'm taking a bit of a convoluted path to the rally - I left Oswego, NY on October 10th. Going to try spending the winter where it is warm - skipping Oswego's 150" - 200" of snow this winter.

Anyone interested in following, I have a blog starting at 2014 Trip.

The image on the Park Map page is poor, but if you click it to enlarge enlarge it as directed you get a much higher resolution image which isn't bad. Thanks for the photo, though: it's even better.

Yeah, I found the same thing too. Clicking on it made it WAY more readable.

I tried magnifying the page and that didn't help at all. Pure mush.
Anyway, I have my hard copy from last year. Includes a weather table.
May average high is 20C / 68F. June is 25C / 77F.
May average low is 6C / 43F. June is 10C / 50F.

Does anyone know which site numbers are included in the 108 booked for us?

Rules of resort are that you can only book a specific site if you are booking for two weeks, and they can still move you, if necessary.
Most of us will be in C77 - C151 which surround the clubhouse where our events are held. Some will end up in C1 - C76, next door.
I tried to sweet-talk them into letting me pick a site, but no dice.

They didn't give me a site # when I made my reservation, but assured me that they had me with the Escape group.

Last year they did the same for me, but at some point others were all talking about the certain site they reserved. I ended up just slotted in to one they chose for me. Not a huge deal, as all the sites in the main loop we are in are only two years old, so not much for mature trees.

I have tried to call them a few times, and only got messages. I left a recorded message myself yesterday and today, but have still not heard back. I think I will try an email in the morning if I still haven't heard anything.

I left a message and got a call back in about half an hour.
You need your Visa or Mastercard to make a $60 deposit, so I think you're better off talking to them in person.

Jon

Off topic but you know Alf will be jealous since you're now at one of Alf's favourite places and he still has to work a little over two months

On topic - no Escape yet in the near future so not going to the rally next year but hopefully 2015.

Adrian
