I was told they would not give a site until you arrived. They have had too much troubles in the past where someone in a site decides to stay longer and the person who reserved that site did not get what they wanted. They assign you a site upon your arrival.

I think the earlier you arrive the closer you can get what you want.. Last year we arrived on Tuesday and there were only 2-3 other attendees there. Gabi and Wolf were one of them.

My reservation says C-33 on it. Last year too, I was able to reserve the site I got early on, despite others saying they could not. Maybe they just like me better.

Or, maybe I will get there, and find out something different. Don't care hordes, I just wanna have fun.

edit: I just phoned them, as I had to give my deposit. They said that I could not be guaranteed that site, as they may already have a longer term customer there, and they would not move them. They did guarantee Tammy that there will be 110 sites in that area for us.

Well, anyway, I'll likely be booking at the last moment.

How is Leslie doing? I certainly hope she can make it this year. Kinda softens out your rough edges a wee bit.

See the surgeon Dec. 1 and I believe the plan is surgery in January. But, there is also daughter's wedding in the works for July 11. Apparently it's a big deal, with showers etc.

Hope all goes well for her. Give her my best wishes too.

I know the wedding story only too well, with my youngest daughter getting married May 2nd. I have to build an arbour for it, and totally rebuild a trailer for her by then.

Doug and I have just reserved for three nights starting Thursday.
I couldn't get a specific site--but did say what general area we wanted to be in...

Maryanne and I will be attending with our new 19 that is to be completed at the end of January. We will pick it up from ETI in early May.
We attended last years rally with a SOB (Some Other Brand) and found the event really useful when putting together our build list.
I see that there are already two newbies with 19s coming to the 2015 rally - Ian G from Calgary and Jack from Sarnia. We must get together and compare notes and learn from one another.
The rally will be my first experience with hookups!

Sounds good Dave, we should occupy a "newby 19" area. We attended 2 years ago as SOBs. See you there ... the wine will be chilling.

Fantastic plate!

That looks like an actual Ontario plate. Is it? If so, how did you get it before getting the trailer... do you order the plate without the vehicle, and only need the vehicle registration when you apply it to the vehicle (trailer, in this case) and get the validation sticker?

5.0TA owners can't copy this one... only eight characters allowed (in Ontario, and likely anywhere).

Unfortunately, in Ontario we can't put personalized plates on a trailer. They will be going on my truck.

Sounds good Dave, we will try to get close ... but I was talking to Nk"Mip just a few minutes ago and they repeated that they will not guarantee any site, they will try but sites are finalized when you arrive, if someone is in the site they will give you a choice of those available.

Yay only 6 months and a few day ... -11C right now, it cannot come fast enough
