I would but am still a poutine virgin. I've had nachos, chili fries and cheese fries but don't think I'm qualified to do the great Canadian delicacy justice. I told Reace I'm bring California poutine, try it, you'll see what I mean!

Ian is a gourmet chef, I was hoping he'd bring some. I have some of his taco seasoning and was hoping he could work his magic with poutine! Tell you what, I'm not leaving Canada without experiencing the wonders of poutine!!!

Sorry, Alf. The continuing obsession with this French Canadian "delicacy" makes me want to gag. I ordered some (many, many years ago) in Montreal and could not eat it; I found it disgusting. For kicks, I took it with me and tried to feed it to the Border Collie I had at the time. That dog would consume almost anything. But he tasted it and walked away.

Carl, me thinks you're missing the point...it's all in fun. So what do folks in Florida eat?

Exactly!

Poutine is simply fries with cheese curds crumbled on, they gravy poured on that. With these three yummy ingredients, and if prepared properly, it results in a simple yet yummy concoction.

My wife ordered some in a local restaurant last week, and they were not so good. The did not use proper cheese curds, and ended up with a clump of cheese goo in the middle. Simple fare yes, but it can still be screwed up.
