Our first rally was an outstanding experience for us. We were out standing in our campsite and out standing chatting, in most all of the others. We shared backgrounds, hobbies, and "escaping" experiences. I saw the original "Alf" shelf, awe inspiring! And, we took in lots of innovative solutions to everyday trailer life problems. Thanks so much to Paul for setting-up, and executing, this event. I'll post a pic or two when I have more time to figure out how to do that.

I don't have any pictures (except for a couple of the "American Pickers" store). I was too busy meeting folks, showing and visiting trailers and sampling brews to think of taking them. There were a lots of folks who stopped by yesterday to tour trailers. Mary and I assumed that few would want to see our little 17 amongst all the bigger new ones, but a couple of times there were people waiting in line to see it. (Mary of course blamed that on my overly loquacious nature).

It has been a great time and thanks so much to Paul for getting it going. We wished more of you could have joined us.

Mississippi River Fiberglass River Escape Rally

Yes Jim, the ever efficient Paul has one planned for about this same time next year We're sitting along The Ole Miss in the campground watching Wood Ducks so I don't have the paper with the date but looks to be a definite go.

One of these days I'd like to hit more than one rally on a trip. In other words ideally one could stop at a rally going out to Osoyoos and returning hit another one. With Alf's Niagara Rally one week earlier, several attendees were able to attend both.

Ok according to Paul's tentative info: September 30 to October 2 at Thomson Causeway about 25 miles north of this year's site.

"loquacious"? What's that? Did you and Mary for a bike ride around the park on those bikes in your campsite that were holding up a tree?
