Yes, saw all of those water hook-ups and will have to see if we can reach. Our Y connector became no good in no time but we can do a fill up.

Has for years, but they don't cost $4.99.

They have a lot of nice sites, I'd suggest you give them a call yet today to see what they have for this weekend. It would only be a couple of minutes from fishermans corner. There's a great big handicap site at fishermans corner too. I'm not sure if it's reservable or shows on the map. You could call them too to learn more. Best of luck

Thanks to Dave and the rest of the community for your answers and info.
We have several choices, then. The Illiniwek camp ground looks perfectly fine.
Tent sites right on the water...we can fish from there! That, plus a nice campfire, sounds sooooo relaxing. Again, I appreciate y'all helping this newbie out!

We had good experiences at both Kickapoo state park near Danville ( stayed there twice) about $30 and then off of I74 at Morraine view stat rec area last year on the way back from Niagara. Twenty dollars at moraine view, elec only at our site, nice showers. Pretty nice little grocery store in LeRoy Illinois

Hi all! Looking forward to seeing you all this weekend!

Probably should have asked sooner but.....anyone that's coming from Minnesota or through there, would you be willing to bring some Dutch Crunch BBQ potato chips? We found them during the summer of 2014 on our trek to Chilliwack, but unfortunately they don't distribute in Illinois.

I'm willing to pay you for your troubles in picking us up a few bags....thanks in advance!!!!
