Seventy Degrees just hasn't found her place yet! It was 65 degrees the day before and beautiful sunshine, but this greeted the late campers this morning.

Hi: Greg A... Are you sure you bought the right model for that name? 19C* is only 66F*... 21C* is 70F*!!! Alf

Alf,
I do not have "Two Degree Itis"
After seeing AZJack's 21 though the wife was a little unsteady. I assured her it was the awesome decorating that got her.

Two foot itis, no problem, two degree itis, still no problem. Decoratingitis is terminal starting with a couple of cute pillows, then a few pretty little things and finally full on glamping. The good news is that it does not USUALLY end up affecting refrigerator capacity. And the pretty stuff doesn't weigh up too bad. Don't fight it, just get some museum putty like Nancy, and go with the flow.

The tow handled beautifully, Greg, despite miserable conditions. Driving down through Oak Creek was lovely, then two and a half wonderful hours up on icy route 17 to Flagstaff. Other people seemed to have all the trouble, including on I-40. Lots of slide outs and I’m not talking about cathedral stickies. I credit the Silverado’s superb auto/4 wheel drive, but also employed manual 2nd gear low mode.

Myron, did you back off on the brake controller to soften the trailer brakes while on slippery roads? and how did you take that picture, have the passenger get out and run along the side?

No, Jim, I never once had to adjust the brake controller. Also never used the truck "towing mode." There was plenty of time to get out and take that picture on Route 179 since we were all stopped and had to wait for a slippery car up ahead (think he was from So. California) to figure out how to move out of the way.

This guy wasn't so lucky.

It is days like this when I am happy to have a traveling house. Find a safe place and hunker down for a couple of days.
