That's Calgary !
We canoed the North Saskatchewan River from Nordegg to Rocky Mountain House, and got lots of snow there. Rain too. No worries about forest fires so we had big campfires each night as we hung out under tarps staying warm and dry.

Isn't that what homeless people do in the cities....., I believe one of the members here has their avatar saying the same thing "Rving, where you spend a lot of money to live like a homeless person"

Hoping everyone has a great time at Osoyoos, the weather stays nice and everyone has a safe trip home. Next year as Arnie says...."I'll be back"

It is actually high class for that form of camping, which is a style that is way more mind relaxing than even using out Escapes.

Mis-Adventure arrived late yesterday...I think we're #4 in camp....we're back in the Orphan's Corner at C81. We have a great view of the vineyards and mountains from our dining window. Visitors Welcome.

I think rain in Osoyoos is usually mist.
Anyway, there will be lots of sunny, smiling faces.

Fortunately, the only certain about weather forecasts more than a few hours ahead is that they are at least partially wrong.

That's Freddie and Dora in the Casita....they have a 21 on order for pick-up in Jan. They've been fulltiming in that Casita for the last year and a half. They're next to us in the Orphan's Corner. We met them at Green Eggs and Ham almost 2 years ago as they were just beginning their adventure. Really nice people. Proud to call them friends.

Wow Doug, the only consistent thing about weather forecasts seems to be their inconsistency. The same app I used for the original post now matches yours - and that's within 24 hours.

Hi Jim- have always been impressed about the way you Canutians can throw a tarp in camp

It can be the difference between being comfy, or being miserable. We choose the former.

Be there early tomorrow Doug - only a 2 hour drive from Grand Coulee WA. Really looking forward to putting faces to names.
