Really, you have to ask. A GIN Factory tour, samples, wish I could make it this year. Will have our 21 for the next rally.

National dish? you've got to be kidding, I've never even tasted the stuff.

Looks to me like something meant to drive some folks nuts on the Escape forum but for eating? not so much.

I was at the Rally last year (loved it), but can't make it this year.

An off-topic suggestion: Along with writing names on name tags, include Forum user names.

Have fun everyone!!!

Right on, Ron. I tasted poutine once in Quebec and wondered at all the hype. It may be an East Coast phenomenon. I don't personally no anyone who orders it or enjoys it. Yikes, says I dodging fistfuls of fries and cheese curds being hurled at me! I'm sorry if I have offended P. lovers.

We are open to suggestions. Not knowing the general area, we're hoping to either tag along on something that sounds like fun, or just follow someone's recommendation. We like touring wineries and distilleries, good food and good company.

You'll have to spend an hour or so exploring the Home Hardware in 'downtown' Osoyoos. Carries almost anything you might need and lots of stuff you don't, but will probably buy anyway.

Then, you don't know what you are missing.

Yes, it is brought up in jest, but made up right, it is a very tasty dish, just so long as you like good spuds, gravy and cheese curds, with something like pulled pork thrown it.

Oh man, now I have to wipe the drool off my keys.

Aye, and it is Jasper approved, especially the pet section.
(they allow dogs on leash in there)

I think as long as we leave that trouble maker Anna-Marie behind, they will accommodate us again.

I generally attend Scamp (sorry for using an off-color word) Camp in Sebring, Florida, every February. Typically, they schedule a "Tech Talk" where an "expert" answers technical trailer questions or demonstrates a mechanical procedure, such as a wheel bearing service/repacking. One of the ladies has a craft meeting where they make something unique and participants pay only for the cost of materials, usually $5 to $10. And if someone has a general interest hobby, they will schedule a "class." One year, one of the participants demonstrated geocaching. Perhaps we have some talented rally attendees who would be willing to volunteer to share their knowledge with those who be interested.
