2016 Escape Trailer Rally - Wine Tour

Hello Everyone,

I have just received confirmation from OK Wine Tours that we have secured two vans for Friday, May 27, 2016 for a private tour we will have each van from 10am - 5pm.

OK Wine Shuttles will honor last years rate of $65/pp which includes taxes and free wine tasting. They will visit as many wine tours as we would like during the day and stop for lunch at a winery of your choosing. (You must pre-register to secure a seat on either of these tours)

Shuttle 1 & 2:
Visited approximately 5 - 6 Wineries and stopped for lunch. (10am - 5pm)

Each shuttle will hold 14 people, and if necessary we can secure a third van. - this is a very popular event and seats normally fill up quite quickly.

On Saturday if there is enough people interested in a Saturday Wine Tour we can secure a shuttle. Please let me know. Otherwise OK Wine Tours will offer a Hop-On-Hop-Off tour. you can find more information on their website as to how the HOHO tours operate. www.okwineshuttle.ca

Please contact Escape Trailer Industries if you would like to participate in the Wine Tour.

All money will be collected upon check in for the Escape Trailer Rally as OK Wine Shuttle has changed their policy and now requires prepayment.

If you have any questions please contact The Escape Office Team at Escape Trailer Industries.

Tammy,
Sounds like a lot of fun. What's not to love about good local wine? Please put Ned and I down for the tour.

I'd not count on your post being read on the forum. Also send your request directly to Escape.

My friend and I did the wine tour last year. Waaaay fun When we got back, we were exhausted from laughing and enjoying the wine tasting. We were so tired, we didn't even go to the Friday night shindig at the community area. Be prepared

Sounds like you had fun indeed! Were you using an over-sized wine glass for your tastings? I know your coffee mug is humongous!

I think the problem (if you call it that ) is I'm a beer drinker and that wine kinda hit me! . AND, it was plenty warm sitting outside. Wasn't used to that either.

I'll have to wait till 2017 as more than likely I'll be without an Escape for awhile.

Need dog sitter during wine tour

We are scheduled for the Friday wine tour 10-6:00. Does anyone in the group know of a dog sitter, or would be willing to sit a (beautiful and smart) six month old Australian Shepherd puppy? Otherwise I think we can find one in Osoyoos, but thought we'd start here first!

Wonderful wine is OK too.

We will almost certainly be going again, it will be our 4th year on the wine tour. It sure is a lot of fun, plus we pick up some good wines too.

The last 3 years, one of Tammy's daughters has watched Jasper for the day. He is an Aussie too, still young at 8, and the girls love him as much as he loves them. Maybe they would take a second dog, as we will get them to look after Jasper again, as long as they are coming. Otherwise, I would bet you could find someone to watch your dog. If we weren't going on the same day (we always do the Friday tour), we would be more than happy to watch your dog.

Jim, that is very kind of you. I thought I remembered that you had an Aussie. I am so in love with that breed, but he is getting BIG for six mos. In any event, I will contact Tammy to see if one of her daughters would be open to this. This is our first wine tour, and I signed up before getting the dog thing arranged...Priorities, you know
