Thanks so much for your response. We will bring our screen room, Deet, citronella candles and Thermscells. The insects you named can all fly and the distribution is probably pretty uniform in that river bottom. Hope for sun and about a 10 mph breeze, or bring a fan and make your own. Thanks,
Dave

My pleasure! We actually met some folks in a red 17' Oliver, who are interested in attending the rallly and want to check out the 5th wheel model; they plan to be here for the open house.

That is a nice Oliver, tell your new friends there is a second Oliver coming, a 2016 Elite that is 23+ feet long. Looks like a beauty,

We're trying to decide whether we need the screen rooms at the campground or not.
Your input, if accurate will be rewarded.

Pink golf balls...

OK. This sounds crazy, but if anyone can spare 6 old PINK golf balls, I would greatly appreciate it. I am trying to enhance my Ladderball ball collection.

Egads. Looks like they even painted the window frames and the black is coming through in some places? Or maybe it's just my eyes.

We've played that for many years now, but call it Snake Toss, a name that is said to come from when the game was invented by cowboys out working. For some fun, they would kill a few snakes, then toss them trying to hang them up on the barb wire fence. Sounds like a good explanation to me.

When I was searching for rules and dimensions on how to build it, I found a dozen different names, a whole bunch of different dimensions of the rack and snake length, and many differing sets of rules. We just adopted what we thought worked best and went for it. This is second favourite camping game after All Terrain Bocce.

In a change from the "delightful" (if you love heat, humidity and rain) weather we have had in the Upper Midwest this summer, both Wunderground and Accuweather are predicting nice weather for next weekend in Thomson. Let's hope is stays that way!

I like Snake Toss!

I got the dimension somewhere on YouTube and when we play we use the My House...My Rules" approach, so no one gets too caught up in technicalities. The goal is to have fun!

Dave Allen is bringing Bocce ball too. He was also looking for his old set of Lawn Darts...hmmm.

Currently at the campground. We are expecting a cold front to blow through today, and then smooth sailing.

AT&T cell service

By the way... Those with AT&T phones should get between 2-3 bars. Not sure about other carriers. Will try to find out.

I agree, just play by the rules of the game host, and all is fair and good. Hopefully the counterweight rule is in place, where you have to hold a beer in your non-throwing arm for balance. Same with Bocce too.

I have a set of those lawn darts somewhere. Not a good game to combine with drinking, especially with wee kids and dogs running about.

Hi Tash
Hopefully we can see you during the open house Saturday. Gay's 87 yr young dad will be with us as he is interested in doing some travel with us and has much more RV experience than me! Thanks again for showing us your 21.

Verizon cell service

Another camper in our loop just advised me that they are getting 2-3 bars with Verizon.

I regret to tell that we cannot make it to the rendezvous this year. Too many projects going on. Feel free and use site 115. I hope next year we will be there again.
