Thank you all for making me, a newbie, feel so welcome at the rally this past weekend.
I had a wonderful time meeting you all, seeing your Escapes, and learning from your experiences.
The pot luck was great, so much good food and company, never mind the downpour!
A special thanks to Alf (and others) for the organization, and for hanging in there for three rounds of door prizes.
I drove over 1000 miles to be there, and it was definitely worth it. See you all next year when I'll have my very own 19'!

Ursula - it was great meeting you! All the best as you downsize your home and dream and scheme your future trips and plans in your sweet home on wheels!

Hi Alf
Thanks for your tireless efforts and for making this rally such a fun success. I was heartened by the presence of several younger campers with fiberglass rigs or planning to buy one. Todd asked me if I thought he'd be setting around a campfire at a fiberglass rally in thirty or forty years. I said I thought so, especially if Alf is organizing it.

Hi: Iowa Dave... Thanks!!! If you think I'll be doin' this at near 100... Ya right.
The "Sundance" just didn't work this year. We went from "Fun in the sun" to "Pain in the rain" but we're campers Eh? We took up 47 sites and had 11 Escapes there... both records!!! Sunday brunch at Betty's well I lost count... but near 50. Word around the camp ground was that everybody had fun... and that's what counts. If my pacemaker can keep up we'll be back at The Riverside Motel and Campground Sept. 15- 17th 2017.
Y'all come back now ya hear!!! Alf

Thank you Alf for organizing the rally. It was our first fiberglass get together and we had a great, if soggy time.
The area is beautiful. We rode our bikes approx. 9 miles to the falls on Sunday along the Niagra River. A traffic free bike trail runs right in front of the campground. Our idea of vacation perfection.
We stayed the night on the way home at a winery in eastern Ohio. I found it on Harvest hosts. How peaceful, overlooking the vineyard. Check out the harvest host website.
This weekend we have a trip planned at a Yogi Bear campground. We would usually avoid this like the plague but the presence of 3 grandkids has us very excited. Trick or treating on Saturday, yeah....
This will very likely conclude our camping for this year. 72 nights in our escape. Not bad for our first year.
