Yes, the weekend outlook looks questionable, hope you can get in the potluck, Alf's beans are worth the trip alone and Dave's Spam, I'm missing some good food....

Weekend outlook
Sunny faces with a chance of wrinkles, 100% chance of comraderie with heavy handshakes and possible indigestion.
I had a piece of Jon's pie a couple years ago. It was very very good. There were a couple pieces left when I was in line last year and the people behind me were hoping to get some as I heard them talking so I skipped the pie, just didn't feel right depriving someone who hadn't had any.
With awnings, pop ups, easy ups and all those "spacious"'eggs I'm sure we'll stay dry enough. I never melted a Boy Scout.
Go to the falls at night. Take a carload. Let them out, there's plenty of stopping in the no stopping area, driver goes uptown and view the zoo, humans, go to the Dairy Queen , free parking, get an ice cream with your loonies, go back and get your riders, lather rinse and repeat till all are visually satisfied. Saves the 18 to 20 dollar parking fee
( which is only about $2.00 US)
Dave

For anyone interested, I've started a page of photos from the 2016 Niagara Wine Escape Rally. I'll add to it as the rally progresses.

Jon the Friday photos come up with a 404. Wish we were there as we had planned but will enjoy seeing the folks and trailers through your photos.

Peter and Nancy's 2017 Escape 21
Peter and Nancy were gracious enough to give us all a tour of their brand-new 2017 Escape 21 at the Niagara Wine Escape. I was really impressed. What struck me was that Escape has managed to make three needed modifications to the exterior design-- the door, the windows, and the awning, and yet if you were standing fifty yards from the old and new versions of the 21 parked side by side, you'd be hard pressed to see the difference. That's good design work imho.
Right now we're all wet due to a thunderstorm. Don't have to worry about the nearby Niagara River rising, though.
