If ur coming on I-10 E it is exit 17 Dome Rock Rd. If ur west on I-10 it's exit 11. Take Dome Rock Rd towards Quartzsite on the S side of I-10. Couple of miles down on the right you'll see the trailers.

Hi all

I just read this thread..... we MIGHT be able to make it, in our 17' Casita.

I didn't see any mention of anyone with an Escape 21' being at the Quartzsite rally 2016....

Anyone with a 21' Escape going to be there?

I only ask as we plan on ordering one soon (when orders open up)

we have seen one, once.... briefly.... but would be nice to discuss the Escape 21' with new folk. :-)

My wife, 7 year old daughter and I own a 17' Casita..... but have never, ever been to a rally.

We camp various places, and we enjoy meeting new people, but don't like drunken parties or loud ATVs

Can anyone explain the "vibe" of the Quartzside fiberglass rally?

We are considering attending. Only a 4-ish hour drive from Los Angeles!

I'm afraid to report that most of us that will be attending Q are long past the ability to have drunken parties. I find at this phase of life if we all sit around the campfire and partake in a beer, wine or nice scotch we tend to fall asleep pretty soon thereafter. While I've never found anyone still asleep in their Coleman camp chair the next morning I'm assuming everyone makes it back to their trailer OK.
All kidding aside, Quartzsite is a fun and unusual gathering. With well over 100 trailers there last year it is spread out all over the desert. Small communities happen, because it is too large a group for all to gather. No reservations, no bill, no checkout time. Come and go all week long. Big flea markets going all over town, and just enough activities at the gathering to not be obtrusive.
Hope we see you there. You will see just about every make, model every year at Q.

So far (as of 2/4), there are 3 Olivers, 6 Casitas, a Scamp 19, an Escape 17 & an Escape 21.

Are the Oliver's the traveling group from the factory that are usually in town? I don't recall having an Oliver at the gathering in the past.

They were not here during the "Big Tent" show, and don't seem to be here now.

Two of the Olivers that are here are friends (and consecutive build numbers). The third is parked in a different area, but came in the same day.
