The main organization for the Q rally is over on the CasitaForum. Folks are waiting for there to hear about next year's dates too.

Just checked out the Casita Forum ... Gene reports a final tally of 180 fiberglass trailers there. That's a lot! Did not see next year's dates listed yet.

Scamp Owners International as of 2015 forward is now the hosting organization. Dates are normally in the past not published until closer to summer, but I'll be deciding the dates in the next two weeks and posting by the end of the month.
As soon as I get work caught up I'll be posting official recap and numbers, they are higher.
Cheers...

Woohoo Donna is coming to Q :
I'll have the dates posted shortly. 10th anniversary for Q and Ten Forward will be a perfect trailer to have in attendance for the celebration.

Thanks Greg. I think over the years there's a bunch of folks that have wanted to go to the Dome Rock gathering but just haven't been able to attend for one reason or the other. I hope to have a convoy of folks coming with me next year from the Pacific Northwest. Time is a-wasting!

Dome Rock BLM group camping is the polar opposite of being in the Great North-Wet. And, like scotch, an acquired taste. Fortunately, the wonderful sanity of it all is in the numbers. My unofficial count is 19 Escape owners were there but.... that's strictly off the record.

(Perhaps, besides scotch, two essential items to bring are a nice big outdoor rug for in front of the trailer, and a fly swatter for inside.)

Probably no better place to watch people!

My favourite for that is Venice Beach. I have spent a few days there over the last years, sipping Erdingers and watching a lot of colourful and friendly folks, all while listening to some great music being performed. Good friends have an apartment a few minutes away in Santa Monica.

SoCal is awesome for people watching. I've spent all but 9 years within an hour or two of LA. Next time, try Hollywierd Blvd. City Walk at Universal and even Disneyland are pretty good venues too. Lad Vegas is one of the best!

So I don't get hollered at for straying too far off topic, there are plenty of great campgrounds out here!

I still can't get over the idea of filling a large container with miscellaneous cans of soup, of unknown origin and then eating from it.

Right- and wonder how many actually consumed any? Now, if it were 12th Annual Paso Pinot and Paella Festival I'd be all in, and hopefully will be this year.

Now if was hot dogs of unknown origin, that might be different!

We know you don't do potlucks Glenn, so this doesn't surprise me. When you think about it, everything at a potluck falls into this category... unknown origin, unknown ingredients, etc.

We've done the Soup Thing at a NOG and the soup was really very good. Be adventurous! Try it. If you don't like it, don't have it again. Kinda like picking something you've never had off a restaurant menu!

I loves me some good potluck, as everyone brings a dish that they really like, so you get lots of yumminess.

Oh, and I am the guy that loves to try other things from a menu, rather than just stick with what I know I like. There is actually little that I don't like, so I usually have good luck.
