Pick your brains......

No, the zombie invasion isn't coming.... but I am What a wonderful opportunity to meet folks in the Escape community and to see your mods and options before I have to make final decisions. My 17B does not roll off the line until Oct 2017. I don't need much of a reason to travel and this will do just fine!

Make it part of your trailer pick up trip! You simply pitch a tent at the gathering! Osoyoos has quite nice temperatures around that time of year.

This will be my first rally, so I'm not sure how the activities are scheduled. Should I arrive on 5/24 and leave on 5/29 in order to be there for all the events, or do people arrive on 5/25 and leave on 5/28?

In the past, we always arrived a day or two early since we allowed such for driving. But arriving on Wednesday afternoon the 24th will allow you to set up and get acclimated. Tammy and Reace usually arrive about that time also. Friday is the group dinner provided by Escape. Saturday there are wine tours scheduled throughout the day as well as trailer open houses. Saturday night is pot luck where you contribute a dish. Sunday is a potluck breakfast and after that you are free. So having a day or 2 before allows you to enjoy the area as well as mingle with other owners.
Osoyoos is truly a lovely campground and town, visit the hardware store downtown and lots of owners do a pub crawl on Thursday.

Joan and I plan to attend again in 2017, this event and our Escape friends are always so much fun.
Our plan is to bring "Buttercup" our 1974 Boler for a change, that would make 4 years with 3 different fibreglass trailers.

I'll bring a Scotch selection again. Though I believe you had one too. Carl brought a nice bourbon, and Reace had his girly whiskey too.

I have actually never seen Buttercup yet, and look forward to it. (I mean, you live sooooo far from me) Do you still have all 3 trailers?

Jasper National Park

Toying with going from the rally up through Kamloops to Jasper. Last time there was 1975 for backpacking. Any advice on how the roads are now? Probably return via Banff/Lake Louise route down to Idaho.

The roads are great on that route. I love Wells Grey Provincial Park along the way to Jasper too. As always the Icefields Parkway is a fantastic drive, with lots to see and do along the way.
