2017 Escape Trailer Rally - Swapping of Stuff

Hello Everyone,

Just realized we don't have anyone yet to manage the 'Swapping of Stuff'.

This event is for those attendees who have miscellaneous items to donate. All items must be labelled prior to being dropped off and picked up at the end of the day if not re-homed.

We are looking for someone to 'host' this activity in their campsite.

Please contact the Escape Office Team if you are willing to host this event. Last year it was only done on Saturday from 10am - 2pm.

I think LeonW said he'd take it back this year.
I'll help if needed & I think there were a couple other volunteers on the general Rally thread.

I have a new front tongue wheel, 2 sets of awning hold kits with springs, one set of Camco awning tie back velcro straps, 2 extra RMD refrigerator crisper dividers, MaxAir sliding window vent that I'm contributing.

Tammy,

I am more than willing to manage the "Swapping of the Stuff" this year. Just as a reminder to everyone, here are the rules for the Swapping of the Stuff":
  • Please label the Stuff with your name, site number and, if there is some special knowledge associated with your Stuff, please post it on a card or label of some sort. For example, if your Stuff will only work with "classic" trailers, please note that on the card.
  • All your Stuff must be given away rather than sold. The terms of my parole do not allow me to handle any funds, American, Canadian, or other wise.
  • Stuff that you take does not come with any warranty, implied or otherwise However, Stuff may be returned or exchanged for other Stuff of equal or greater value so long as the exchanging is completed prior to 1:00 PM.
  • If you bring Stuff to Swap, and no one wants your Stuff, please come and pick it up prior to 1:30. You are responsible for disposal of your Stuff.

Looking forward to seeing eveyone at the Rally. We leave in a week!

Watch out, Leon will probably try to get you to take over and he'll take off on one of his 300 bicycles..

Will this event still be Saturday 10-2 or will it be re-scheduled to accommodate those at the golf tournament or wine tour that day?

We leave in just over a week. Looking forward to meeting everyone although we may have met some of you way back in 2012 when we attended last.
