Sorry Steve, I didn't mean to mislead. I attended last year with my 17' Casita SD specifically because I knew there were going to be a good number of Escapes in attendance. Like Dave I enjoyed all the different trailers at the rally including the nicely done bus conversion. Hope to meet you there this year.

I do not believe there is bad site in the campground. Just booked site 121. Look forward to seeing everyone from last year, and meeting everyone new.

New one in Missouri?: Where have I missed this?

Must be lots of folks getting there Wednesday or before. It would not let me reserve for us to get there Thursday until 9:00 Central time this morning (6 months in advance)

We'll be in 110 and look forward to seeing lots of old friends (some with brand new Escapes) and meeting new folks again.

Note: If anyone is traveling together with friends in another trailer or just want to be right next door to each other, campsites 123 and 124 are "buddy" sites.

Yep. We decided to come in a little early as it is about an 8 hour drive for us. Just felt if going all that way we may as well stay a little longer. Already looking forward to September.

Lindy and I will have to miss the rally this year. I will be riding my bicycle up the Loire River. Missing the rally is the one downside to my trip. Who is going to keep Eric and Dave honest at the Torque Your Nuts contest?

It's a fool's errand, but I shall try to keep those 2 rogue characters in check, somewhat. Yeah, right. Booked this AM for site 113, in my legacy, vintage, beater 1996 Casita. Bummer that you'll not be there, Leon. I'll need backup, for certain.

Well you booked the site closest to the competition site.

Imagine that, Leon would rather visit France than hang out with us... I wonder if Bill will be able to repeat his nearly flawless performance to be a repeat winner. I bet he is out practicing right now.

I did a quick check of Reservation.Gov and the campsites at
Thomson Causeway for the Mississippi River Rendezvous are going quickly . Especially the sites close to Iowa Dave.
Coincidence, I think not !!

Howdy neighbor! We are in 108 Bob & Ann. It will be very nice to finally meet you. By my count that makes at least 4 Escapes from Cook County. I was just trying to wrap my head around the thought that it will be the final week of the regular MLB season that hasn't started yet. Lots of games and travels before then.

Not only that but we're all together, 102, 104, 106 and 108. PARTY! Looking forward to meeting you.

Aw Leon, say it ain’t so. What kind of flotation tires do you have on your bike that it will go
Upriver? I’ve had this dream since I was a kid. Fish all the remote spots. Trap coon before it gets too icy. Slide into otherwise inviolate timbers along the creeks for a little mushroom or turkey hunting, I gots to know.
