We'll be there. Save a button/badge/pin for me.
I'll do the mystery soup. It leaves a bit more room for artistic license.

Ron,
After that incredible pot of mystery soup you created last year I was hoping you were up for another creation!
Can’t wait to sample what you’ll come up with.

Quartzite Gathering Will Be There
We are looking forward to attending this. This will be our first 'gathering' and looking forward to meeting campers, music, and firecamps! And good food and drink!

We will be attending our second year and looking forward to it. We enjoyed all the wonderful people and what they have done to their rigs. If you think Escapes are a rare beast you will be disappointed, there were lots of different versions there in attendance last year!

Mail general delivery
Has anyone had mail delivered at Quartzsite? Can you just have it sent to General Delivery and have them hold it for you?

Yes but I don't suggest it since the post office is VERY restrictive ie they only allow pick up between 11 and 2 which makes for a HUGE line waiting to pick up daily. I suggest sending it to Ehrenberg, Az about 10 miles away

This sounds like it would great fun, but I used up my 14 days at the RTR just east of Quartzite. Does this occur every year at the same time?

The gathering is in its 11th year and occurs at roughly same time each year. If where you stayed is 30mi apart then no problem with 14 day stay.. If I recall the 14 day stay is within 30 days and resets every 30 days for stays within the same area, so you’d be fine if your stay was over 30 days prior.

Holy cow, what a difference a couple of days make. Yesterday, horrible drive to south of Portland. Heavy, heavy rain made driving difficult. Today, sunny warm drive over Siskiyou down to Rolling Hills. Got prime spot in corner Saw a 2 day old 19 on the way. We'll be taking a look at it in Quartzsite.
Hopr the weather stays sunny and warm, loving it.

Ron: That's why we go south!
Speaking of south, where is the Quartzsite gathering? Yes, I know it is at Dome Rock. Been to Dome Rock, camped there a few times. From having been there I know how BIG it is. So, can anyone describe where in Dome Rock the gathering is?
We plan to make the long trek from Brenda for the gathering arriving Wednesday.
See you all there.

It may be a bit west of the usual spot (at least the headquarters). Right now there are bunch of sun blockers parked in the lower area where Greg & Earl usually set up.
You can't miss it if you drive along Dome Rock Road. There are already a number of fiberglass trailers, both on the hill & on the lower flat. Still lots of room, but there are probably 25 trailers in the area already.
If you have a GPS, I'm at N 33.64303, W 114.30527

For anyone interested, I've started a page of photographs of the rally. I'll add to it as the rally progresses.

Heya Jon - any chance they'll get the hint? (or maybe you have already let them know that they are about to be swarmed with 150+++ eggs?
and they'll buzz off?

We have a 21 with purple stripes and a white Tundra up on the ridge behind the gathering. Come up for a look any time. Oh..and a U shaped dinette.
