She’s running pretty good down there right now with the second flood crest of the spring in effect about now. Who knows what the summer and early fall will bring. Hope for the best, camp on higher ground to avoid the crest. Burma Shave

Martha and I will be close to your site (we are in #64). It's just a short walk to the other loop. We'll have our dog "lady with us. It should be fine. I'm sure you'll enjoy the rally.

Hi Jenny
To answer a couple of your questions and of course since it’s by me, it’s a long answer and more than you asked.
Dogs are fine. Three basic rules. Normal greeting barking but not incessant. Always on a leash. Pick up after your dog and deposit in dumpster. If you run out of or forget bags, see me and I’ll give you some.
Pot luck on Saturday night
Meet and greet traditionally on Friday but you’ll know all the friendly folks about a half hour after you get there.
Trailer tours on Saturday usually but again many people are up for a showing about any time you ask within reason.
Campfire in the stone pavilion, Paul collects a little money and we go into Thompson and buy from a guy along the road or there is firewood at the camp host. Propane campfires are permitted too.
NEW NEW NEW for this year.
For the early arrivals and I think there’s more than 15 who will be at their site on Wednesday ESCAPES and CANAPÉS site 114. Small campfire and light eats with a couple starter drinks provided by Iowa Dave.
Time. Well whenever you think it’s appropriate as the waning day, lowering sun and shimmering river are overshadowed by the dulcet tones of the W C Handy Classic Saint Louis Blues coming from the north End of the campground just after the ranger goes by looking for a report of a howling dog. And if popularity succeeds, a second round at our site or that of another maniac camper on Thursday. EVERYBODY with fiberglass in their blood and a love for camping welcome.
Hope this is OK Paul,
Oh and it’s best not to display open containers on Corps of Engineers grounds so glasses or couzies are appropriate.
And one more thing. Be sure to observe the speed limits Closely throughout the park.
If you get set up and realize you don’t have any water on and need a 5 gallon jug or two I’ll loan them to you. I can still carry the mail but not your water.
Hope this helps
Iowa Dave

There are water spigots conveniently located through out the campgrounds but not at each individual site . Yes there is a dump station as you leave the campgrounds
We found the campgrounds water suitable for drinking but then we are not part of the highly filtered , imported , bottle water crowd
