Bluebonnet Rally
I am not getting my 21 until the end of July, but I was thinking of driving to the rally this Friday. I have not seen the "new' 21 yet, just the first generation (Thanks Mary). And my oldest son (who will use it whenever he wants and has not seen any Escape yet except for pictures) will go with me. Would it be OK just to show up on Friday to take a look and meet some people?

Feel free to just show up and visit. Just walk around-folks are very willing to show and tell!

Agreed. Plenty of folks show up just to look at trailers and not camp. The "egg parade" happens to be on Friday this year. If you see a blue balloon hanging outside, that means the owner is willing to give you a tour.

Come by site 17 or 18 . There are three 2017 21' Escapes within that area plus another 2017 21' in site 85. There are also some older Escapes at the rally. We will be happy to show you ours. Call me at 972-965-1629 if you prefer.
Regards,
Fred M.

Yes, Barton. It's absolutely okay to come to the Blueb and have a look at the trailers there. We did it in 2015, and are heading out tomorrow morning (to camp in ours this time!) As Robert said, Friday's the day! I think there will be 9 Escapes. I don't remember how many are 2017s, and how many are 21 footers, but I'm looking forward to meeting those who can be there.

Looking forward to meeting y'all. From what I hear, this rally started a little "early" and was pretty much filled up yesterday!

Welcome aboard!
I won't be attending, but I bet my bottom dollar that there would be lots of wonderful Escape owners willing to show you there trailers. This is a pretty standard thing at any rally, and one of the best ways to get to look at and compare trailers.

Wayne, Jim is right. There will be plenty of owners (myself included) who will be happy to show you their rig, regardless of which day it is.

Better look at the production schedule. If this is like last year, there was a flurry of Casita owners trying to buy an Escape after the Bluebonnet last year

This park is pretty full. More trailers than last year. We are near the front this time, and so far we have a site to ourselves. By tomorrow we should be doubled up. I've counted 8 Escapes so far, most of them the 2nd generation variety. Quite warm today, unseasonably so, and many campers are currently hunkered down inside with the AC running.

Yes, come on by - if we're not home on Saturday at site 17 or 18 look for the ladderball tournament as that's where we'll be. Saturday morning or very early afternoon would be best to catch us at the trailer.

We are at the Blueb in our 21' Escape (classic). There are also two Olivers and a couple of Bigfeets...among the 167 trailers that are far and away mostly Casitas.

I wish I could be there!!!! I would love to see the friends we met last year. Walter and I are busy getting things packed for our trip to Chilliwack. See you in Osoyoos. Tell the folks there the Quilting Lady should be back next year.

Yes, Ginger that is right. When I found out I wouldn't bump my head anymore coming out of the bathroom and I didn't have to crawl over Walter to get out of bed in the middle of the night and sit on him getting back into bed, it was a no brainer. I told Walter if I sold enough quilt stuff at the rally for the down payment we were getting one. Our Casita was almost a year old, but Monday morning as soon as ETI was taking calls I was putting down our downpayment on a new 21'. Advertized our Casita and had a taker within a week. Next a long wait.
Now it is just 27 days until we pick up our Escape. We could have gotten it early if we would have opted for the optionchance to move up our date, but instead we bumped it back a couple of weeks so we could go to the Osoyoos rally while there.
If you are at the bluebonnet rally tell folks hello for us and we hope to be there next year! Nancy- the Quilt Lady and hubby Walter
