Reace and Tammy had to head home early due to some illnesses among the staff at Escape causing manpower issues. So sorry to see them go but so nice to have them here and spend time camping with such great people. Happy trails and have fun at Osoyoos!

My wife and I had a great time meeting folks and checking out some Escapes today at the Bluebonnet rally. We gained some invaluable insight, and left with confidence that we made the right purchase. Looking forward to picking up our trailer in June!

Something the rest of us were already confident of. Lots of memories to be made soon.

I bought my trailer without ever seeing inside an Escape, and was quite confident in my decision, based on talking with Reace, and what others had to say.

Daubsy: if within your first year of ownership, you decide you don't like your Escape, I bet that you'll be able to sell it for at least what you paid for it. You just made one of the best purchases of your life.

Hmm. What's wrong with this design? Hint: think gravity.

I guess it depend if there is some kind of back flow prevention at the tap such as a Watts 8A vacuum breaker.

Cheers

Yeah, but I was thinking of the gallon or so of crud that can't drain because it has to go uphill.

Ok, I just got schooled. Apparently the fitting swivels down for when you connect the hose. My bad. Good job Casita.

I always thought the water filter went at the source in order to keep your hose clean, but Alf says that in the Florida sun, mold will grow and it is best at the trailer end of the hose? Anyone else have ideas?

That too, I was looking at the fresh water hose and the potential for back feed.

Cheers

On the Casita the whole drain fitting swivels down.

The Medina River is up due to all the rain we've had. The ice cold water feels wonderful when it's 92 out!

We are so glad we had the opportunity to visit the Rally on Thursday. We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the Escapes in amungst all the Casitas! It was great to meet some of the valued Forum members and see their trailers and hear about what they like so much about their trailers. Thank you all for taking the time to share with us! Tammy and Reace were also very gracious with their time and expertise. Thank you Robert and Yolanda, Robbie and Rob, and Dennis. You all were a pleasure to meet! Hope you enjoyed the rest of the Rally!
We also would like to thank Tom Mackey for his graciously hosting us at his home overnight! Tom, thank you for all you did for us and taking the time out of your day to show us around! You live in a beautiful place and we are thrilled that you shared it with us! We hope to see you and Holly on the road!
We so look forward to the day we finally get our trailer and start on our adventures! Hopefully to meet more Escape owners as we travel..., Happy trails y'all!

Bluebonnet 2015 is no more and we just got home. I can't begin to thank all the great folks we met and the great memories we made. Thanks especially to Steve and Cynthia, Ranger Duke and Beverlee, and all the other Escape owners we met during the rally. Texas is fast becoming Escape country, and with Reace and Tammy showing off their 5.0 TA, along with us and several others showing off the 19's and 21's, I have no doubt that several orders will be coming in to Escape within the next week or two. We had a SUPER time. Thanks all!

Now, if I can just get up enough gumption to pack my suitcase and get on that plane to DC in the morning for work....ugh!

It was great to see the Escapes and to be able to get a "hands on" view. Thanks to Tammy, Reace, and all those who had open house with their Escapes. It certainly took us off the fence and into buy mode for a new 21'.

WE also had a great time meeting all the Escapees at Bluebonnet. It was nice to put names to faces. It was also fun meeting you Charlie and Lucy. I still think Reace and Tammy need a factory in Texas! It was great seeing them and Dennis and Marlene. Hope the trip back was uneventful an all are safe home!

Thanks for posting all the pics!

Also, I am now happy retirement came before RV, otherwise I would have left a whole lot earlier!
